Why do people have such a problem with people that are gay? Does it REALLY matter to anyone who is gay and what they do?

There's nothing wrong with being gay. You are who you are and no one should feel ashamed about that.
It can matter to those who are gay, because people can be really hurtful with their comments and it lowers self esteem without any justification, making people doubt ourselves.
The fact is as a few have pointed out already, that if you are christian and believe it to be a sin, then fine, don't practice it yourself, but don't try to force your opinions on others either. You don't have to go preaching to everyone whose opinion differs, especially when the only evidence ever offered up is that the bible tells you so. There's a couple great articles online about that interpretation of the bible, and if you are one of the ones who depends on the bible to tell you that being gay is a sin, you would do well to read it.

I honestly believe that some people are born in the wrong bodies. The chromosomes got mixed up. You are who you are and if you are you are gay, you are gay. People are people regardless of the color of their skin, religion, or their sexual preference. We should all learn to live together, period!

i dont care...
frankly i dont mind if gay people have sex or marry... i do ask that you don't talk to me about it though... i dont like hearing about gay sex... straight sex either... as long as u don't start blabbing about having sex with a member of the same sex... i dont care if you're gay.. bi.. or whatever.
live and let live.
Oh and the ones that are against gays for bible reasons... let them be gay.. in your belief system only God can judge them and you're taking it on yourself like a you're a messenger of his. Like I said above.. live and let live.. if you're religion's true then they'll go to hell.. if it's false in that sense, like I think it is, then whatever.
Let them enjoy this life at least. Besides.. I know gays who are happier than most of you christians, that says something doesn't it?

there is nothing wrong with being gay...of course, I see the "thumpers" have chimed in with their usual hateful comments. do you not have anything better to do than preach hatred and intolerance? can your really claim to be Christian when you pass judgment on others and hate in the name of God?
there's nothing wrong with being gay....there IS something wrong with being a hate-mongering bigot! get a life! live and let live! God created and loves us all....not just heterosexuals! if He didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any!

nothing is wrong with that...... thats how that person is naturally born.. we cant do anything about it.. but accept the fact that, that they do exist. and let them live like normal human beings rather then ignoring them and saying bad words to them, after all they are also the gods creation.

It doesn't matter to me, but, it does to God. It is scripturally proven that homosexuality is a sin against God. He's the one they'll have to answer to. Should be the ONLY one.
