Why wouldn't Abraham marry Hagar? Is it because he already had a wife? Either way, God told Abraham to send her and her wild *** of a son away. Apparently God didn't want them to burden Abraham any more. What do you think was God's motivation for sending Hagar and her wild a$$ of a son away from blessed Abraham and his 1 wife?

Hubby said it was when all the pregnant ladies give birth (He's real funny) to see if the kids could give him the right answer. Our 3rd grader said it was to honor people who work, our 12th grader said to honor the blue collar workers, Hubby said it was a comunist holiday, and got the kids in an uproar. Anyone know the history of Labor day?

There is no sound biblical basis for associating Lucifer with Satan, where then does the story come from that he is a rebellious angel and fell because of pride?

Do you understand that there were no Christians before Christ, that the Old Testament was not written for Christians, that by staying away from the non-Christian laws and possibly made up stories of the Old Testament you don’t have to worry about all the contradictions, that the only thing that should matter to you is what Christ personally said, what His personal guidelines for real practicing Christians should be, that you should conduct your life according to these guidelines, and not the Old Testament?

That what happened in the beginning or what will happen in the end are nowhere as important as what you do with your life, how you conduct it according to His guidelines and laws?

Isn’t it always easier to convince or convert by example?

joke? I will conceed the point that he antagonized christians with this question, but ya'll are christians. But see, you revealed to me why I no longer follow christianity. How do ya'll think God and/or Jesus would feel about your answers? Do you think they would tell most of ya'll, Hey yeah, good job telling off those non-believers? I doubt it, if he really is anything like I was taught for so long that he was. He want you to try and help 'save' Mr., but I doubt that's what he had in mind.

Oh and I already know that I am Damned for no longer following along, but thanx for caring.

The Bible describes Ishmael as a wild *** of a man who will oppose everyone. Muslims seem to be very proud of their apparent relation to Ishmael . Was Ishmael's personality disorder passed on from generation to generation?

I went to a private school that had only one African American student.

Today I took my daughter to the roller rink and met a very nice African American lady with a daughter the same age as mine. We talked while our girls skated together all afternoon.

My question is this; Would she be open to my pursuing a friendship? I am not sure if that is welcomed or if it was a case of "I was just o.k. to talk to at the skating rink but don't ask me to go shopping and to lunch because you are caucasian" or "don't invite my child over to play...

How do you feel about having caucasian friends?

I have a new friend that I am concerned about. I will try to explain as best I can
This person is always leaving jobs for the flimsiest reasons. Therefore this person is always looking for a job. This person was homeless on several occasions, but has an apartment now. Just recently this person is without a job again and is in danger of being evicted if a job isn't found in time to pay the next installment of rent.
This person is always telling me that they are looking for something better and when they get it, it is not what they are looking for so they quit after a season.
My question is how do you deal with a friend who tells you something and it just doesn't seem to ring true with you? Something is wrong or missing in what they say and you just can't put your finger on it!

This question is gonna get crazy but crazy is good- out of the box.

When we think are we actually focusing on a whole separate environment where knowledge lies AND just another place that inhabits the here and now?
Let's say I died and went to a place where like minds gathered.
The people in each place lived in a state where they only were doing the things they wanted to do and nothing else existed to them, they didn't even see any other possibilities. Woul theyre perception "eliminate the middle man" and they constantly did what made them feel comfortable and did things they felt they were only capable to do.
Could it be possible that these places exist and we are existing in both of these places right now. I'm sure there could be more than two but is it credible to say we do exist in our concepts and share that reality with like minds?
Please no jesus answers, I like the guy but this goes beyond just being saved.
