face it there is no "god" its just your imagination and hope for afterlife which does not exist

Well, it has been for more than 2,000 years and we have found a cure. The cure is logic, reason and the scientific method.The problem is that the sheeple don't want to take their medicine.

Actually, religion has been going on since the dawn of time. The ancient Sumerians worshiped a goddess named Tiamat and a god named Marduck. The Egyptians worshiped Geb, Nut, Isis, Osiris, and Seth among others. The ancient Greeks worshiped Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, etc. Technically there is no real proof either way. It is a matter of faith or lack thereof.

Believe what you want. I hate organized religion and at the same time I believe whole hearted in God and the afterlife. I can't imagine this world being the only thing to live in or for. It's too depressing. If you listen, you can discover the truth.

If there was no God, then who created the trees, the grass, and let you wake up this morning. God may be believed in different ways, but He's always still there. An afterlife with God esists. It's a matter of choosing where we want to spend eternity.

You think it's only been around in the christian era? Religions have been around for as long as man has tried to find reason in himself for his existence. My faith, given by God Himself, isn't just blind faith, but God has given me evidence that supports His promises....Jim

Actually it is intersting to me that you date religion at 2000 y..........no religion before Christ ? If belief in a higher power is a disease.....you would have to date it back a whole lot further.....
