I bellieve in polygamy to the extent that for every man that has sex with several women there should exist a woman that has several husbands. Of course, our patriachal society only talks about the former and totally will not even discuss the latter. No, I do not believe in polygamy. What century are we in anyways? Sounds like a question from the middle age.

Marriage is a legal protection for women and kids, regardless
of the love Hype. Where there is too many women left helpless
from wars, etc. then the need would be there for men that can
afford it, to take more than one wife. If it is against the law, then
how could anybody have more than one ? Many millions of folks
all over the world, live together and have kids, so how would you
prevent them from doing what they want. The problem is, of course, if the woman did not agree and was not of age to make that decision for themselves.

Legally, I think it would become way too much of a hassle. If you consider the consequences of three wives entitled to one man's estate, you might realize that the inevitable squabbles concerning who was married first, who was the 'best' wife and so forth would soon begin.
If, however, a person wants to have many partners during their life, perhaps a few at one time, I could care less.
{What's going on with that fundamental mormon sect is wrong -- minors are minors, not wives.}

A better question would be if I believed if it was right or wrong. I believe it exists and that the concept was made by men for the obvious reasons. If it was a good concept, why isn't it acceptable for women to have lots of husbands?

well the practice exists.
do i agree with it,,,,as long is it is with consenting ADULTS i really do not care one way or the other what kind of sex people have or with how many people.
but when you have sick perverts like Warren Jeffs arrangeing marriages between 15 year old girls and 50 year old men something is wrong. this is not religion this is pedophiles hideing behind religion and useing it as an excuese for their actions.

Right now with my b/f acting like a JO it's looking pretty good. But, usually - no, i'm a one man woman - as much as he annoys me and causes me grief - i can only imagine what many men would do - i think that would just kill me! LOL

I got some friends who have more than 1 wives, it is not uncommon here in Indonesia, what surprise me that one of my friend is Catholic and yet he got 2 wives
