I was a bit late for a meeting and my boss was very upset. It was for an important client. He called me out of the meeting and we went into the lunchroom. He then took a fresh pot of coffee out off the hotplate and threw it all over my face. It hurt like hell and I had to go to Emergency. There are no visible scars, but I feel so violated. I need the money. Please advise.

I've always wanted to go to England and I have the chance to go there for a year. Now, the problem is deciding where. I would like to stay in a town close to London but more "small townish" than London is. I'm an American female who lives in a slightly small town in the southern states, so I'm not exactly use to big city living. Thanks for the help!

This is in my continuing effort to get a feel of what some of you who visit yahoo answers believe about the planet on which you live and depend upon.

It is a small planet roughly 8000 miles in diameter or 200 million square miles TOTAL surface area or 60 M sq.mi. land area.

Do you or don't you believe that 6.5 billion + people can have a possible adverse effect on the planet.

I work the front desk and a co-worker (opp. sex) hangs around my desk practically all day! Most times, he doesn't even say anything!! He JUST STAND THERE! It's very frustrating! I am married, not interested in him at all, and want him to go away. Several people including myself, have dropped hints, and he's not getting them. Also, I have noticed, that he gets very angry if I don't speak to him! He's a bit unbalanced. How do I tell him to leave me alone without causing tension?

what happened in your life to make you not belive in god? I really can,t understand this ,I as a young person Along time ago) never met anyone that would say that they were athiests, if you do not belive in God and the here after what do you belive in? who do you turn to in when life gets to hard sometimes? Calm down; try to answer this spiritually rather than as a sexest person.

Don't forget there are some mothers that say, "Yeah, but my son's wife deserved it, she's a real b*tch." People can be provoked into hitting someone.

I feel the law has done a good job reducing domestic abuse; however, it still exist. also I seen women remain in abussive relationships without need to do so. And there are those who get another guy but it's for the same thing. In these cases either the woman likes that kind of attention or what? Even if she that poor at selecting, at the first sign of the same thing she should zoom out of the relationship.

Here's your chance to teach they should zoom out of the relationship never to return or get involved in anything like it. Or, she is part responsible for what happens.

And, guys, if you feel you have to hit them, it's better that you leave them and never return; that hurts them more.

I have been having out of body experiences since I was a young girl around 7 years old. Right before I started experiencing this, my grandmother & I saw a man outside our window, my father went outside and stood by the tree but when he returned, he exclaimed that no one was there but my grandmother & I could still see this person. Could it have been Jesus or just my guardian angel. And if my guardian angel then why did my grandmother see this also?

There's this guy that I've liked since last semester and we're finally going on a date this weekend to the movies. The problem is, I have a phobia of popcorn (I know, it's strange) and I get nervous at movie theaters and usually I have to have a friend buy my ticket and drink for me because I cannot approach the concession stand.

Then why is it they cannot produce offspring? Logic tells us that without offspring humans/animals will seize to exist. This is in the news now. Separate out all of the stuff about forced marriage and abandoned boys, etc., that are obvious heinous aspects of the current event. I can intellectually understand certain sexual reasons for wanting multiple spouses, or even practical reasons (division of labor, etc.). Having children I even understand the possibility of loving more than one person equally. My problem is that a marriage relationship is not the same to me. I've been married for 10 years, and with all of our ups and downs I cannot find any space in my "emotional container" (call it heart or whatever) for another woman. Is there something I'm missing?

I just opened a new account here. I closed my original one over a month ago and even shut down my email because this nut was sending me hate mail. I suppose I should have just turned off the enabler to receive mail from people on here but it was so upsetting I just shut it down. I had a question about pregnancy and parenting and I mentioned that I lost my baby son in the last trimester of my pregnancy in a car accident and that I burried him next to my mother. This person started sending me hate mail and answering all my questions with disgusting comments. He kept writing me that I should have mummified the baby and the baby would come back from the grave and vomit on me and a lot of really sick stuff. I am still grieving and I could not believe he could write these things. I did keep reporting it but nothing changed. Did anyone here experience any kind of stuff like this?
