Nature does not regard life with any respect and what appears to us as an intelligent design may be a reflection of the complex dynamic physical rules of our own electromagnetic mind

I always had personal conviction of trying to be nice and kind to people at all times, especially people in need of help. By following that conviction, I participated in volunteering activities, always tried to never refuse people's favor unless it is an emergency and just treat everyone with kindness and respect.
Recently a person who are familiar with me told me, "You need to be more selfish. Learn when to refuse people's favors. You need to be more greedy by asking more, desiring more. You also need to be jealous when people are ahead of you. By doing so, you will be able to succeed."
It is certainly true that I have yet to reach success at 24 years of age. What he said made me reflect on my life.
Do you agree with his statement? What do you suggest I change in my life?

I live in a court. It's ran by an assocation. The b*tch (president) has never acted as a mediator. She is determined to choose sides. And there's nothing the police can do since it's private property. There are usually three 16 yr olds with multiple basketballs pounding on the asphalt in front of my house. I've seen them in my driveway, blocking it multiple times. They have hit both my vehicles several times. This usually persists for an entire afternoon every other day. This horrible noise can be heard throughout my entire house; it's like a jackhammer. The teenager's father thinks it's great. He actually partakes in the festivities and does so with some of the older guys in the court. It's really pissing me off. I'm being singled out. Should I just up and move? It seems like the only solution. Just because one asshole kid and his friends want to harass me, it's going to cause all this upheavel. GAHHH!

I was just taking the garbage out to the dumpster. It is quiet and as I turn around a medium to small dog barks, snarls, and growls at me and approaches me like its going to bite. I think it had an owner cause it had tags but no leash and no supervision.

If I had kicked it, punched it, or squashed its head with a boulder would that have been justified? Should I have run away or let it bite me the sued the pants off the owner? I instead tried to scare it by waving my arms and legs like a kind of lunatic and this worked against the biting but it really startled me?

What would you have done?

I am genuinly asking this, because I can't comprehend why people would attack it so continuously. I will never change what I believe, what is your goal? Is anyone else ridiculously tired?

Both have just as much proof to their names and just as much...I guess for lack of a better word "anti-proof", why is God so much easier to believe in than ghost are? I ask people why they don't believe in ghost and they usually answer "Because I've never seen one." ,but how many of you have seen God?
Just wondering what youre stance is on either and the reasoning.

Day and night day and night I continously see nonbelievers fight those with beliefs about what is real and what is false. Both sides give out examples and both examples are crushed by both sides.

This is a never ending battle. Only one side is right and only one side is wrong. But no one will know unless they have faith in both of their thoughts. Or they have physical proof.

I love this site. It never gets boring.
