if it was not for their hard work and many hours standing outside clinics ,bothering patients then maybe this pill would have never made it to the shelves....good going you christians keep up the good work,people are showing how much we care about you and your anti-abortion talk.....

Jesus said that if you make someone stumble or be decieved it were better if you were never born. Teachers will be judged with much more strictness. So dont teach if you dont know, read the bible! Do you understand that you cant just teach what you feel but what is real from God and not some philosophy that you learned from Hollywood?

I'm a firm believe that good things happen to good girls. Ive always been a good girl. However back in the days of high school, not many guys wanted to date me. Now fast forward a couple years and Im a junior in college now. And my boyfriend right now is in his last year of medical school to be a doctor. Ok, hear me out. There are many gaps in evolutionary theory and among some mentioned on this site is the "missing link." Provided that no evolutionist is reasonably sure that they have found the missing species commonly reffered to as the "missing link" yet many believe that some day they will have the answers. Some day they will see the un-seen. Couldn't you call this faith? In contrast, Christians and creationists can't wait to see their creator. So do evolutionists hope to one day discover a new Homo-* ? Yet many evolutionists and atheists alike criticize the idea of having faith in the un-seen. What are your thoughts? Thank you.

The other night I was having a discussion with my parents about religion and laws.. We got to talking about Gay Marriages and my father said to me "Dont talk about that it will only turn into an argument" I said "the only way this could turn into an argument is because im for it, so you both (meaning mum and dad) must be against it" He looked at me (shocked that I stood up to him) and said "Well yeah and Im not going to explain it" I stormed out of the house and I havent spoken to them in 3 days. This has upset me because of these reasons 1. I talk to my mum about marrying my partner all the time (same sex) and she has lied to my face about been sweet with it
2. They are my parents and when I told them about my partner they supported me 100% and now this. They dont care about my happiness obviously as they know how bad I want to marry my parnter.
I am a very passionate person and gay marriages is on the top of my list, and they know this! Help please.. advice.. anything!

Am I the only person who hides his bong when the show "COPS" comes on?
It just seems like, if I can see them, then they can see me. I feel uncomfortable doing unlawful things while "COPS" is on. Like unatural to smoke a doobie while looking at Cops busting people. Am I alone on this? All references to illegal or unlawful behavior implied by this statment are ficticious. "Bong" refers to a water pipe used for the inhalation of Tobacco and other legal substances. This question cotains a chemical known to cause brain damage by the State of California, and should not be used without proper ventilation.

Do people know why this is a FALSE gospel?
Christ came into the world to do the Father's will.
The Father sent Christ to be crucified.
Because of Christ's atonement, all men will be judged by him according to their works (as opposed to not receiving a judgment at all and being cast out of God's presence by default, Nephi 9:8-9).
Those who repent and are baptized shall be filled (with the Holy Ghost, Nephi 12:6), and
if they continue in faith by enduring to the end they will be justified (declared "not guilty") by Christ before the Father, but
if they don't endure they will be subject to the justice of God and cast out of his presence.
The Father's words will all be fulfilled (cf. D&C 1:38).
Because no unclean thing can enter the Father's heavenly kingdom, only those who rely in faith on the atonement of Christ, repent, and are faithful to the end can be saved.
This is "the gospel."

Then it uses the word "lay" when talking about sleeping with another man? Are the "wrongs" mentioned in Leviticus meant to be conceived as less harsh when interpreting lay versus the phrases that specifically use sexual relations? There is obvious "measuring" going on with the verb choice, isn't there?

Let me clarify my original statement and position about insignificance
I'm not melancholic, depressed, suicidal or have low selse esteem. When I say insignificant I mean that no one is any better or worse than any one else. Everyone has something to give and to teach.
For example-The President may be able to run the country and teach you how but he may not be able to bake a kick butt lasange and you could teach him that.
Another way of explaining what I mean is when people are refusing to get over for ambulances,police cars, or fire engines thinking who cares I have places to go-well that vehicle could be on its way to save someone you love and I bet that if you were in that vehicle or were waiting for the help you wouldn't want someone impeding it

If someone loves God and leads a lifestyle consistent with their beliefs is that a religious nut?
What about the aspect of sharing? If I lost 50 pounds and people ask me how I did it, I'll tell them about my plan or pill or the gym I go to and no one thinks I'm a weight loss nut. If God is "working" for me-I have peace and joy and live a life of generosity why wouldn't I share what I've found out with people I know or who ask?
I mean, I know there's nutty people out there...for example every time I meet someone who likes to go camping they try to convert me (my position is that if I paid the rent why would I sleep outside) the extol the virtues of sleeping in a tent and sleeping bag and nature and bla bla bla and inisist that I have to go camping their way, then I'll be convinced-that's not what I'm talking about.
Ok, that was a tangent, but you know what I mean right?
Where's the line between a religious nut or a Jesus Freak or whatever and just a person living out their belieifs?
