Why do we enjoy submitting to the desires of another?

In so many areas of life you have to be in complete control and what better way to just let yourself give in to the moment than to completely submit to the will of another??

There's a theory that someone who can submit sexually either feels powerful in real life or holds the most power in a relationship. There's also a phrase I heard--topping from the bottom--that means that while you may look submissive, you're in control. Sometimes it feels empowering to see the look on their face and make them happy.

The one who can submit is a very confident and trusting person. It feels great to let go of all the worries and stresses of the world and just trust that someone else will take care of you. Plus you can really learn a lot about your partner if you let go of preceptions of who should do what and just do what feels right at the time.

I agree with the first answer. I'm in such tight control of so many things that it's nice to release that and just let someone have at you.
That, and by letting them take control, we get to find out what they enjoy most, and can therefore use that information next time.
