By praying to God and asking him to help you keep a strong faith in him and by reading the bible. Also, by being an everyday Christian rather than a Sunday Christian.

By trying to make the correct choices in life. Not to slip into evilish ways. Going to church or praying has nothing to do with being a Christian in my opinion. It's how you act in your life and how you treat people. Basically, what kind of a good person you are makes you a Christian. I'm sure some people would say I'm wrong, but I don't think God would condemn someone who was good all their life and made the right choices and send them to Hell. I don't see that happening if God is suppose to be loving...

Ah, he who believes but has not seen. You feel the faith. I know no other way to explain it...and for those who have never felt faith, I am sad for you. You can go for a long time and want to be Thomas, and stick your finger in the hole in Christ's side...or you can accept that you simply feel it.
The older I get, the more I deny that it all (we, the universe, life) could have just happened. It is so complicated, and so beautiful, just so miraculous, for lack of a better word.
I believe in science. Science is amazing, but I believe that creationism and evolution can in some ways embrace each other. Before the big bang...how did all of the necessary components for that event come to exist? So there you are...forced to have faith in something that you cannot prove...just like me.

well i keep my faith by praying and studying the bible. I have had experiences in my life as well that have helped to strengthen my faith. Besides the bible says we only need the faith of a grain of mustard seed to move a mountain. And you know there was a little old lady who prayed everyday for a mountain that she would see out her window to be moved so she could see past it. She prayed for this for 30 years and finally one day people came and tore down the mountain. So you see you have to keep your faith and just because she didn't get it moved telekenetically doesn't mean it wasn't God that had it moved for her.

Faith results from belief or trust in somebody, something, or principles; especially without logical proof.
It is increased by becoming familiar and experienced with who or what you learn. Examples are in our everyday life.
We trust our dog or cat by knowing and enjoying with em.
Mechanics trust tools by learning the correct way to use m.
Your Mom trusts her oven by experiencing successful baking.
The police officer trusts his weapons because he has learned to use em.
The surgeon trusts his scalpel by knowing AND LEARNING THE SKILLS needed to help folks - I met a Doctor who can make precise side by incisions 1/10 of an inch in width and depth. He worked at THE CITY OF HOPE cancer hospital.
AS CHRISTIANS WE HAVE PLACED OUR TRUST IN THE WORD OF GOD. (AS FOUND IN THE HOLY BIBLE)
IT TELLS US THAT IT IS BY FAITH IN JESUS THE CHRIST, WE ARE SAVED FROM THE PENALTY OF SIN, THAT GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON TO DIE FOR YOU AND EACH OF US SO THAT WE MAY BE FORGIVEN. WHY? BECAUSE GOD LOVES YOU AND US!
AS WE SPEND TIME READING THE BIBLE, PRAYING, AND LEARNING , WE BEGIN TO TRUST GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.
AS OUR EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE GROW, OUR FAITH BECOMES STRONGER AND WE WANT TO STAY FAITHFUL.
Attending Church, where the Bible is the basis of all preaching and teaching will encourage you as you enjoy knowing others who desire and want to, as you do, keep their faith.

By spending time with God--in the Bible and praying--and getting to know Him better. The more I come to know and understand the nature and character of God, the more I trust Him.
