Basic grammer comes into play here.
The verb of choice does not indicate a measurement of "good" or "evil", being "more or less" bad/good. They are just different words for the same action (or similiar action).
There are many different words in the English language alone used to connotate sexual acts, and only some of them carry "moral weight" when used. The rest are neutral, simply descriptive verbs, perhaps coarse in usage, but still simply describing a particular act. I'm sure you can come up with quite a few on your own, so I won't bother to list them here!
If you want to see a measurement of morality regarding a particular act, I suggest you look at the adverbs used, instead of the verbs! That is the function of an adverb --to modify a verb.
For clarification on how severe an offense was considered, look again at the punishment prescribed for that particular offense. Some required a fine, some a scouring, some a sacrifice, and some death!

the reason is relatively simple having intercourse between a male and female is natural and normal IF THE TWO OF THEM ARE MARRIED and a sin and a crime of rape or adultery if both are either un married or married but not to each other whereas if two women or two men were doing it it would always be wrong both Scripturally and morally Lev 19:22 and Lev ch 20 and Romans 1:20-32 1st Corinthians 6:9, Jude vs 7 tells the difference hope this helps Gorbalizer

You need to take the culture at the time into account
the old testament is a collection of writings from over 2000 years ago. It should be looked at as a historical document, not a rule book. Read it like you would "The Oddesy" by Homer.

gen 9:20-25
And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered in his tent.
And Ham, the father of Cannan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father, and their faces were backward, and they saw not their fathers nakedness.
And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
And he said cursed be Cannan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Ham was cursed for doing things to Noah while Noah was naked and drunk

The whole of Leviticus is about laws and rules for good and bad behavior. cleanliness and when you are supposed to be able to have sex and when you are supposed to be unclean for having sex . the laws are about the same in length as to the yeas and nays for both sexes.
