Long story short, neighbor is a drunk, gets disability so his rent/util/everything is paid by government, fights with his wife, and does not speak English. Have had many situations arise w/ him, involving insulting me and screaming at me when he's drunk...landlord still hasn't booted him. Now he's being a lot nicer, since cops became involved, but keeps asking me for money when I come in or leave the house. Lately, knocking on my door, but I don't answer. Boyfriend feels bad for him, and pities him. BF speaks Spanish and won't tell him to leave me alone. So problem not solved. Still plays his music loud during the day and basically I just don't like being around him. Feel uncomfortable, that doesn't suffice to complain about him to Landlord or have him kicked out.

How many of you recall or still get (cause they still do this) the oatmeal with the platic glass inside? And what is your favorite smell from childhood? My favorite smell (and still is today) the smell of homemade bread cooking. Mom use to make it all the time.

I'm not American and I don't live there, but I watch many American TV series via satellite connection or local networks. A particular joke I don't get is Martha Steward. back in the 90's i used audio tapes..and always the damn tape got crunched ...and my music would mess up easily. VHS also. thanks to the computer and being able to make CD's, now thta doesn't happen. But i still see in sstores, they sell VHS and even tapes.. they also have tape type devices for voice recording, they stil have answering machines with tape casettes in stores.. wht's going on... it's been proven that TAPE technology sucks, that's why they made CD's DVds but still it is used. why?

The only interpretation I have of this is this is a man or a woman who has been verbally abused and brainwashed.

As a human being I should tell this person I love you and accept you for who you are, but part of me says this man is a psychotic anti-semite with darkness in his heart, worthy of being on a "watchlist".

For they are quick to attack one who sincerely asks a question. On my questions that I've asked here, they are most vocal; and I can't help but to wonder what has turned them so against God. And what of my questions offends them so much, simply because I asked. As I see it, they have a right to their opinion of God; no matter how misguided they may be, so why attack me for asking a question wich is really directed to other than them... but for whatever reason they respond with attacking words as if that should bother me. It truly makes me laugh. But in my heart I hope that God would reach them before it's too late. But what could've to happen to such people to make them so miserable on the inside?

That can't be a happy way to live. Especially when they are trying to live on the outside of God's love; little realizing, that every day they awaken, is a next gift from God H.I.M.Self.

how did 1 billion dollars go to "fraud" claims and people and no one seems to realy give a ****,how is it that the katrina sufferes who are american still are being treatede like **** and this asshole bush just gives one of his bullshit speeches and pretends everything will work out.......when will bush supporters read what the job of the president is.....its not to see how many wars he can start.....2 down 2 to go...all the while his country is in bad shape....i wonder if new orleans or the other hit states voted for bush....maybe thats why he hasent help rebuild.....hell sent people to iraq.....but his own country he just gives speeches......impeach this guy already....

Here's my point:

When Jesus was baptized and God the Father said "This is my son, in whom I am well-pleased" - do you think that Jesus was talking to himself?

Immediately thereafter, when the "spirit descended upon him like a dove" do you think that God was descending upon himself?

When Jesus prayed to God the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane "Not my will, but thy will be done" do you think that he meant "not my will be done, but MY will be done"?

When Jesus says "I and the Father are one" is that "oneness" different than the prayer he makes to God the Father that "They may all be one as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, and that they may be one in us."?

How could Jesus be God if God was his father?

Read John 17:20 and ask yourself if it is 3 in one, or 6 billion+ in one.

I did my own research and came up with this: There is no Trinity.

Can anyone prove me wrong?

I'm a rational person and tend to rationalize everything. This becomes really evident when I read the Bible. It's more of a stumbling stone for me. I just over analyze and tear it apart...

Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone have any advice for me? I really want to get to the place where I can have faith and not worry about rationalizing everything!
