He called all aboard the nostalgia train and I got on board so.....
How many of you recall or still get (cause they still do this) the oatmeal with the platic glass inside? And what is your favorite smell from childhood? My favorite smell (and still is today) the smell of homemade bread cooking. Mom use to make it all the time.

My favourite smell from childhood, is like you, bread, not cooking, just bread. I was born at the start of WW2 and we nearly starved so the smell of any food was good...............

I guess my favorite smell from my childhood was that of tomato plants! Yes because i grew up in an orphanage that was partially self-supported. Under the direction of the officials, the girls worked in the kitchen and cleaned their building and the main building. The boys took care of their building and any construction of barns etc. We also planted a garden and kept it weeded and watered when necessary. I do not why I liked the smell of the tomatoes, but I still do. the plants are not pleasant to touch but definitely have a pleasant smell

My favorite smell from childhood is the smell of grass.

I dont know the name of the grass but 2yrs ago, we bought a land on hillside. Me and my brothers were excited to explore the hills and trees, then we played like we were kids, rolling in the grass and it felt good, reminiscing our childhood with the real smell of that one special grass.

To think I was late in my 20's ;)
