They aren't visitors from a distant galaxy but time travellers from a future earth come back to discover stuff long since extinct in their time. Anyone buying this?

If that is true, why do they only go for rednecks? Do they not have rednecks in the future?

Well to be honest, no one really knows. We have been lied so much to over UFO stuff, especially hangar 51 that any theory is possible.
Some people think though that they are more likely top secret military 'planes' for want of a better word but I can't see that one myself.
You can't even ask Dr Samuel Beckett as he only leaps in his own lifetime so he wouldn't know anything about the future to confirm your theory.
The only other way to find out if your thought holds any water would be to give Dr Emmit Brown a call as he developed the flux capacitor and could go forward in time to find out for you.
Anyways... keep the faith ,

Ho Hum,as far as crackpot theories goes, this is old hat - and it doesn't even reach the top ten... look at a few UFO sites
( eg http://www.rense.com ) there are religious theories, hollow earth theories.....my favourite for 'most crackpot' would be the 'time travelling Nazis' theory

I think that they are from another galaxy.
They started to invade us in the 1940s. Here is a picture of a breeding pair in the 1960s.........
I think that they are trying to take over the earth's governments. Be on the lookout for them and report them to Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones if you sight them.

does anyone accept this stuff? sure just ask the church of scientology, they had a crackpot science fiction writer as a founder, they believe some really far out stuff.

That's as easy to buy as any theory that they have travelled at light speed + to fly around hiding from us, or kidnapping people to poke probes into them.
