We make it pleasurable. We are the little kid that shakes loose the parent's grasp and runs crazily away in our freedom.

Besides, not all that pleasures is wrong and not all that is sin is pleasure. Take sex. There is nothing, absolutely and definitely, nothing sinful in sex between a husband and a wife. Now a husband and his neighbor's wife, that's different. A man and his daughter (or son)? That's different. A woman and her dog? That's different. There's nothing wrong with chocolate cake, or even seconds and thirds of chocolate cake. But every day for weeks. That's different. Slicing into a delicious steak is a pleasure that is not sin, assuming it is your steak. Slicing into a drinking buddy because it was his turn to buy the beer but he wouldn't is different. It is not the pleasure that is the issue in God's rules, it is the problem. When what we want is over the line, especially as it affects others, then it is wrong. But we have such enormous latitude in what we can do and what we can have. When we delight in doing what we ought not, then the problem is us, not Him.

The first thing that you should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

Think hard about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely to me.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created something imperfect, us.

One might assume that God could create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect. If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case then nothing that we can do could change Gods will unless we think that we are more powerful than God is. How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then Gods creations could hardly be considered to be imperfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection the God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense, a lie made up about God by religion.

That's right. The only reason sin is so "pleasurable" is because the devil made it like that. Ever heard of "you want what you can't have"? Well it's kind of like that. We know we shouldn't sin, I guess it makes it "exciting". We should learn to find pleasure in pleasing God instead of disobeying him.

If you are pious and live by the rules, those pleasurable things you describe wouldn't be sin. As for involving God and Satan, like the other answers claim, I doubt in the eternal struggle for our souls either being gives a crap what I do with my naughty-bits.

God gave us free will to follow him and reap eternal happiness in Heaven, or we can choose to go hog wild here in sin, which is a false satisfaction which is very fleeting from satan. We all sin, the only way for forgiveness is to be saved by Jesus. All you have to do is believe and ask :)

Is murder really pleasurable? Is it fun to steal? Do you get a buzz from lying? Do you get high when you abuse your parents? These are all sins. Or, do you only think of illicit sex as sin? Sex is not a sin inside of marriage.

Sin is an empty pleasure, devoid of God. It does not provide any lasting satisfaction or fulfilment.

If there are any gods, they have not revealed their will to us. That being the case, nature is our best guess as to the will and nature of gods.

From that, we would have to conclude;
- gods are rational because the universe is rational
- gods don't care if we believe in them because they have not revealed themselves to us
- gods gave us pleasure so we would know what is right

"Sin" is a man made concept designed to control the masses.

God did not make sin. God hates sin. The devil made sin and he made it pleasurable to draw people to them.
