Where are we going as a global society?

Question

1. straight to hell fighting another world war

2. towards a disarmingly close resemblance to the big brother state

3. Or, and going out on a limb here, world peace?

I think we're headed in a direction where the citizens and "average Joe's" no longer matter or have a say. I think all the world's governments are going to turn into one huge dictatorship in the name of "peace" and we will have no rights left. America will become like a third world country. Much of it already has.

I definitely see that the world governments are frantically pushing into place more and more big brother/new world order ideals every day. It seems that most people are so blind that they do not see that the reign of control is growing tighter and tighter. When I talk about this with others they do not really see all of these new laws and regulations as 'that bad', and they allow most of the governments actions to go unquestioned because they thinks that these new laws are in their best interest.

Unfortunately, as long as USA continues to dominate international relations I can't see things improving. I don't think that we are going straight to hell, but I think things will further deteriorate in the next few years.
