I had a topper today when I heard this: The King James Bible was "wrote" [sic] by King James himself. I nearly hurt myself laughing and almost let the chair roll out from under me. How about you?

How can it possibly be ok to mutilate a human being when they aren't old enough to give consent? Why aren't people outraged over it? If I wanted to cut the vaginal lips off of my baby daughter, would you be cool with that?

And please, don't tell me it's healthier. It isn't. I respect circumsized penises, but I don't have that much respect for parents who mutilate their children.

well I went high school for 5 years and got teased alot, and it was a very bad school, and no kind of good behaviour at all, very bad kids, it was just terrible, and and even after 5 years I cannot forget it, I want to forget it so bad , its made me a very tough person, but how do I forget the past I've even been college and thats been great, but high still for some reason makes me feel sad, like that part of my life I went through, kids used to tease my shoes, my nose, it was bad, how do I get through such pain , i feel like again i be teased I wish someone could help how do I let go and move on

The Bible is full of evil atrocities which religious people continually cover up, yet seem happy to drum into the minds of gullible little children. This is such a shameful disgrace in a civilised world.

A small sample ...

Mathew 5:29-30 God encouraged self-mutilation.
Isaiah 13:15-18 God allowed women raped and little children slaughtered.
Genesis 6:11-17 and 7:11-24 God is the greatest mass murder in history.

If you can’t see that the Bible is in fact evil then you’re deceiving yourself. Commonsense and logic should guide you away from the Bible, just look at the mess the world has become with all you religious believers.

Many parents don’t allow their kids to watch various TV programmes or movie films, or read certain books, because they contain too much hatred, violence, killing, and murders which may cause negative thoughts and behaviour in their children. However these same parents allow their kids to read the Bible. That’s hypocritical disgraceful behaviour.

I was flipping through channels last night when I came across this magician called David Blaine. Previously I had seen the guy try to hold his breath for 8 minutes or something like that...anyways, I started watching it but found some of his tricks creepy. Ex: levatation, mind reading, etc. I knew I should have turned if off but found myself fascinated as some of the stuff he could do. Not the mind reading but the card tricks. That got me thinking, is magic, like card tricks, bad for Christians? Thanks for the imput. BTW, how does the guy do taht? Is he possessed or something?

We come here to talk about religion, some of us are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Mormon, Jw's, and all types of religions we are apart of in some way.

some come here who are none...only to make fun of, to exhalt themselves as intelligent...and even to demand. Yahoo answers in all of it's wisdom didn't give them a category...they found that idea to be...well...irrelevant!
