If I could through myself
Set your spirit free
I'd lead your heart away
See you break, break away
Into the light
And to the day

To let it go
And so to fade away
To let it go
And so fade away

I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Wide awake
I'm not sleeping
Oh, no, no, no

I've been noticing alot here lately that alot of Christians are quick to denounce sins that they feel are worthy of doing so, while starchly defending their apparent right to gorge themselves however they please. I have noticed this mostly within southern Baptists, although other denominations or whatever could be guilty as well. My question is not whether it's as bad as drinking, but more along the lines of why is this a totally accepted vice? I know it's southern culture, but if the bible says "put a knife to your throat if you are a glutton", how can people just skip right over that? The usual defense is "it's not in the bible"... well, I'm sorry, but it is, there are several verses such as the one I just quoted that says otherwise.

I know they are not really my friends, but some of them are nice to me when I'm alone with them, but mean in a group.
We started school this week and when we were introducing ourselves in class, I said my name (it is "Jewish sounding", meaning it involves a "berg", "silver," or "gold" but I am actually adopted and my parents didn't raise me in the Jewish religion). A lot of the girls in my class snickered and later in the hall they would say my last name & laugh as they go by.

Then, today in gym class when I went back to my gym locker I found all of my "feminine supplies" that were in my backpack strewn all over the locker room and a note that said my last name on it in big letters.

These girls also pull my hair in class and say I have a big Jewish nose (kind of ridiculous because I am not even Jewish!)

There is one girl in particular that is inciting all of this; when she's absent the others are OK. This girl is related to the principal (niece) . What should I do?

Yeh...bit of an odd one this, but I'm pretty sure I'm Jesus Christ, you know, the son of God part 2. Is there any sure-fire way of finding out?

I know it depends on the job but for example the cost of living is higher in Alaska so I made more there, than New Mexico. Has anyone looked for work in Alabama and seen the range of pay there?

HAD I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

How islam gets converts? The 2 Fox news men had a gun to their heads and were forced to convert. If the libs keep up, we'll all have that wonderful oppertunity.

Think about it. The really bad things happening in the world are happening in areas that don't have a high population of caucasians (of which I am one). The fighting in the Middle East; the drought, starvation, and genocide in Africa; the tsunami in Asia (Katrina was awful, but the death toll was SO much higher in Asia. But now that I think of it, New Orleans has a high African American population.). Many if not most third world countries have a low caucasian population, such as Mexico, Haiti, Cuba, etc.

So I have to wonder: Does the light shine brightest for the fairest skinned of them all?
