Gay-bree-el. Because of the "ie" sound before the "l". It may depend on how the person wants their name to be pronounced. It is distinguished from Gabrielle obviously by spelling -- but I pronounce that one as Gab-bree-elle. With the girl's name, you have an "elle" ending, and with that sound, you get the full "l" sound. Don't konw why it's like that, but it is.

gay-bree-ell. Gabrielle is usually Gab-ree-ell. The first is a male name, the second, female form of the first.

It actually depends on which place (country) the name is used. This is a Spanish name so it should be pronounced where the name originated. GABRIEL is a very masculine name so dont use "gay" on it.
