do you have a hero in your life ? what did they do to be labled a hero ?

My hero is my husband,he was a POW for 15 months during Viet Nam. They sent me back a man broken in body and mind ,but thru love and respect ,and caring doctors he came back to me,it took us 3 years but he never gave up ,he kept going when he was so tired he could hardly move ,but he learned to walk all over again ,and now hes the same sweet wonderful man as he was before. Hes the bravest man Ive ever known and he will always be my hero.

My hero would be my grandma. She is the backbone of the whole family. She raised 7 kids alone, 3 of which were mentally disabled. She has been treated wrong and instead of coming out hard-hearted, she is warm, caring and loving. I wouldn't be where I am without her.

My oldest closest friend in High School..M.S.
Why is he my hero? Because during H.S., I was on a path of self destruction until he finally made me realize what I was doing to myself and those close to me. I seriously think I would have have been dead if not for him and for saving me he is forever my hero

yes my father he was in ww2 Korean war and the Vietnam war , but he never forgot the reason he served, although he may not have agreed as to the reason for the war he served his country with pride, he cared for my disabled brother with out help from anyone, "no government help ie food stamps etc..." he was a strong fun man and he made me the man i am today, he is my hero,,, for the above reasons and so many more ,,, good question.... :)
