Religion was invented to curb human hysteria, and our fear of loneliness , death, and the unknown. but i have a question for Religious people,
why do we need religion? why cant we wean ourselves off Religion and use our own hearts and minds to walk the journey of life?

I'm writing a book with a character who (sort-of) speaks in an over-the-top "Init...respect" Ali G kind of way and as I'm from the middle-class Shires, I have no idea how to make my character sound authentic! I was wondering if there’s an online dictionary of this sort of “Chav/ghetto-speak” with all the “in” phrases, or something where I type a normal sentence in and it changes it?

I just don't understand why everyone has to touch or see something just to believe that it is there.

You that don't believe have been decieved by Lucifer himself. He's a pretty clever dude I must say. He makes you think that what you are doing is okay and that there is no problem with not thinking there is a God. He's even made it appear that he doesn't exist to you.

I'm not here condemning anyone to hell or anything like some. I'm just trying to get you to open your eyes. Humans have souls and they are forever if you want them to be. It's so depressing to hear that someone would rather believe that they would disappear than to go to heaven and live for all eternity.

Also, how can one believe that it is chemicals that create emotions. It doesn't seem the same when you think of love as a chemical reaction that occurs in your brain than a wonderful spirtual feeling.

Please find it in your heart to believe. You don't have to become Christian just accept Him and believe.

How the Jesus "H" Christ does being gay have anything to do with polygamy Mr. Bill O'Reilly? Anybody see lastnight where the jerk said, "because of all the gay rights activism, we now have to put up with polygamy trying to be acknowledged".......did he fail in connect-the-dots in school? Maybe because we have churches Mr. Karr killed JonBenet? That kind of logic? Or, why does Fox News try and tie everything to gays? FCC needs to be brought in here for a lawsuit in my opinion. Fox News should be banned like breast malfunctions at Super Bowls....they are OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

How did you like it? I was recently to a sikr in Mexico City's tariqa and it was odd... this thing of moving in circle while you repeat one of the 99 names of God swinging the head was... energyzing. However, I was impressed by the fact that the sheikh was a woman. I thought that was not allowed in Islam. (I know it is not Islam but Sufism stem from it), also by the music and the fact that at the end everyone (men and women) embrassed and kissed each other.

Share your experience with me, please.
