Why, and this includes myself, do people always want what they can't have? I drive myself crazy because I want something and when I finally have it... I want something else. Do you feel like this sometimes?

Agnostic, not wanting to convert anyone. Just find the following interesting from Christian mythology.

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. (New King James Version)

Consider that the "fig leave" ie "man's way".

Now read this:

Genesis 3:21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. (New King James Version)

So God made tunics of skin, so they didn't have to hide, that means an innocent animal was slaughtered. In Judeo-Christian mythology "God's Way" is the shedding of innocent blood, including the legendary Jesus.

So, in the story of Adam and Eve, do you believe as I do, that the God forgave the Adam and the Eve. There might have been a punishment yes, but there was a forgiveness.

What shocks me is the number of fundamentalist Christians who don't believe this.

I see so many of you claiming your religious status before you even answer a question, " I'm a "Christian" & I believe... I never see any other religious group adding what they are... So I'm curious as to why you don't list what you actually are when you also believe that Methodist/Lutherans/Presbyterians are all going to Hell unless they are Born Again.... In other words, why do you hide behind Mainstream Christianity?
Or is it that you are so insecure with your faith that you need to search out others to get them to agree with you on the answer section?

Hey all, I am male, 18 years old and I study acting here in Los Angeles since I was 15. It's my dream to become an actor (screen). I am quite good looking, my height is 5'4" 1/2 (without any shoes), would you say I am short? Do I still have the potentiality to grow taller after 18, even few more inches? Do you think my height will influence the opportunities of being able to get acting jobs here in Hollywood? Serious roles, not a Gary Coleman or a Danny DaVito (with no offense to them...lol)

I've studied many years to come to this point and now at the thought that height could influence my future depresses me greatly. What do you people think? Thank you for taking time to read!

Or was he as cold as other serial killers are when they go about their business? Did he feel any pain in his nervous system when he slaughtered the babies in Noah's flood, or the first born babies of Egypt in the bible? Did he feel any grief when he slaughtered the children during the recent Tsunami ( he had the power to save them, but willfully chose not to)?
