Here's one for you.....does anyone ever thank Judas?
Jesus may have given his earthly body for your sins, but Judas sacrificed his immortal soul, to betray Jesus because it was foretold. If Judas had free will, then he deserves some gratitude, right?

Hmm... What do you think?
[Sounds like you've already got a fixed opinion on the matter... so why bother discussing it?]
I wonder what God felt watching human beings slaughter and abuse and rape and humiliate and ridicule and mock each other for thousands of years, before finally allowing his Son to choose to offer himself as a sacrifice so that people would finally understand that people didn't have to behave out of stupid, senseless self-interest all the time.
I wonder what God feels watching people continue to do the same stupid senseless arrogant things for the next 2000 years, STILL mocking each other for seeing some value in such self-sacrifice.
I wonder what God felt watching the Egyptians practice genocide on Israelite male baby boys for about 80 years (most likely) because they were afraid of the slave population growing too much to be controllable, before FINALLY stepping in and [after offering the Egyptians numerous chances to let the Israelites go] permitting the death of the egyptian first-born -- in number FAR less than what his own people had suffered over the intervening decades.
[Mercy sucks, doesn't it?]
I wonder what God feels when he sees world-wide catastrophes occur and people die (let alone babies -- after all, we're ALL people, aren't we? And these are just natural disasters, so everyone is "innocent?" Why focus on babies?) I suppose if he cared, he'd remove the possibility of ANY sort of calamity occuring ever in the world, constantly breaking the natural laws of the world, right? Life would just be cheery and rosy and no one would ever cry. I guess any good that comes from the natural order in the world isn't worth the bad that might happen from the same natural order.
I wonder how God felt when people who value human life chose to be his hands and heart and care for those hurt by katrina and the tsunami and other disasters. (Pretty good, there -- apparently we're learning a LITTLE bit at least!)
If you want to dialogue about it, feel free to explore other ways of looking at the same events. Honest questions involving some real searching are always good.

The wages of sin is death. God is clear about that. He doesn't feel human emotions because he is not human but he is clear that he is not willing that any should perish but all should come to repentance. He probably feels more deeply. He cared enough to destroy all those that were so wickedly sinful in the flood to aid those who weren't in not having to live in a sinful world.
God sends storms in our lives sometimes to get our attention.
When you stand before him you will have to answer for every word and deed that you have done and said including these words that you have typed. And if you have not accept his son there will be no excuse.
Do you feel any guilt in your heart when you slaughter the character of others by saying something about them. I dare say probably not.

When did God do all that? You know God gave us life and he gave us this thing called free will. He gave us rules to follow and showed us what the consequences would be if we could not follow them. So don't blame God for every death that occurs, God does not kill.. Man kills. Even the Tsunami was caused by man and his carelessness in the environment and how every day he is changing it and with each change comes stronger storms, bigger fires, larger earthquakes and more powerful volcano's.

For your iformation, God did not "slaughter" His Son. Man did that. Jesus went to the cross willingly. He could have, at any time, called a host of angels to carry Him away, but he stayed to save mankind, even wretches like you who think everytime some disaster happens, God gets the blame. Does it ever enter your closed mind that Satan has power too.

God cried the day he had to turn his back on his son(rember the storm and the earthquake, that wasn't some natural thing that was god mourning for his son,) and yes when children die God does feel very sad about it, but death is a curse on all the human race.

All things work together for good to them that love God. God is not the serial killer. That would be Satan who is behind it all.
Satan caused a great whirl wind destroying all of Jobs animals. He is the prince of the air. He is behind many of the catastrophes.

There are a goal for everything. those people was either bad people and now in hell, or good people in heaven, where their are only happiness. Stop looking at what happens here on earth, because it doesn't matter. somewhere, somehow we are all going to die. Focus on God and do not question his decisions, he is smarter than you, he knows the answers.

He's not as cold as you who makes sport of other people's beliefs while having none of your own. What have you got going for your except a bad attitude, a smart mouth and a disregard for other people. Religeous people try to make themselves and their world better. You degrade society with you lack of civility.
Yeah, that's another word for "asshole".

Yours is a great question. Many people think of God as a loving kind god, but He is not. He is described in many places as vengeful, jealous, and terrible. But He is also described as "just". God is to be feared, and respected. He will help those who ask, but those who disobey will be dealt with in a not so nice fashion.
