The greatest thing ahead for me is watching my daughter grow into the great person she's supposed to be. Each day, she fascinates me with something new. I look forward to taking each step with her and helping her brush off the dust if she falls.
Another huge thing in the future for us is retirement from the Army. Life is going to be so very different after devoting so much to one career. It's full of joy and tears, so we can only see what's ahead.
