because we can, some man do it as well, but im not a lady im a women lol and i love to close my eyes as i love to think of the one id rather kiss, no just a joke, some women r a little shy and yes some all so get a better feeling as well, and some just do it cause others do it as well, but sometimes my eyes r open, so i can c whom im kissing lol

I don't want to be distracted when I'm kissing my hubby so I close my eyes. Besides, when you're that close, how the heck can you clearly see anything? Keeping your eyes open might give the other person the impression that you're not interested in the kiss.

do u know how funny ull look,when u look at some one in such close proximity??(as if u r looking at some one through a convex glass may be.. LOL)i would probably stop kissing n start laughing..... u see,the moment is lost

As I know , all the people do the same when they are passing a fantastic time ,& when they want to tell a reminder for some one if the reminder be tooo joyful they do the same.

Well, have you actually tried to look at the person "from that close" ????? it hurts your eyes, unless you look sideways, and ayhow, it would be a little akward, don't you think?
