Not the R.E.M. song for you wits out there but I want to change my religion from R.C. to Buddhist. I believe it's on my medical records that I'm R.C. and on my birth cert.
How do I change it?

Are folks always telling you that you remind them of a certain celebrity? Do you silently agree or give the: "Oh I get that all the time," response? Folks look twice at you in public because of the resemblance?

Contrary to popular belief, the washing of hands is not to abandon or reject or to turn away from the issue at hand, but the Jews must wash for prayer, as they too are Muslims.

Pilate and Herod held long discussions with Christ and they were well aware of the Islam of Israel, and Pilate was reminding the blood-thirsty Jewish leaders that they should have been keeping the Passover holy with prayer and with their preparation for the Sabbath, and also, that the power of crucifixion was in his hands, to make or break them.

"Go to the pool of Siloam and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight." (John 9:11)

Biblical Jews, like other Muslims, must wash to prepare for prayer, and the command to wash is to go and pray for your sight.

He washed, and Pilate washed, and Christ was set free, and the two Jesus thieves were crucified, and the Curse of the Crucified Thieves still linger in Jerusalem and throughout the Middle East, and now George Bush must go and wash.

Why should i let Religion dictate my life. I am a free minded person and i do not like when people or books writen thousands of years ago tell me what i should i do with my life, how to live my life, and what i can and can not do. I belive that religion destroys our individualist mind and body by telling us what to do and what to belive in. Millions have died since man has "invented" religion because they did not belive in the other person's Religion. why should i belive in some thing that might have dout or no one really knows what is right?

I asked before - Is fighting over religion like fighting over who has the best imaginary friend? So many people didn't seem to understand. What I meant was, how can all the different groups claim to be right?! (I even had one reply claiming Islam was best. Yeah... looks like it right now doesn't it!)

Do you think that people are born with a 'sexual prefference' gene? I do not, because if there was one, it would have died out since gays are attracted to the same sex, and do not have children naturally.

I was a pirate band groupie. I've given them up because, even though I know they're pirates, I had hoped they would treat me better than they did. Now I love everything about the pirate world. Everything, that is, except the actual pirates. The pirates themselves were horrible, cruel, selfish and stinky men, (Anyone read the book Captured by Pirates?) but, outside of the men themselves, I love everything pirate. I have a whole library of books, jewelry, belts, t-shirts, costumes, even an old world style wall map so I will know where Tortuga and Port Royal are. I even bought a 3 piece renaissance outfit that is kind of spectacular. Now I'm not going to the shows. All dressed up with no where to go. I'm looking for other ways to be involved in the pirate scene. After all, I can't let my wardrobe go to waste. Any ideas?

Recently on my spiritual journey, I have discovered my affinity for the numbers 111 and 11:11. Upon researching this phenomenon, I discovered I wasn't alone. I would love to hear other experiences and to what you determine the significance to be.

I've been hearing lately that Islam teaches that it is their Allah- given mission to kill all people of other or no faiths. That not only do you believe infidels (non-believers) are going to Hell, that it is well within your spiritual rights to send us there.

And if this IS true, do all Muslims realize what they have signed up for?

given that most of the worlds problems(that arent about religion and lines on maps) are due to over population and over stretched resources, surely global culling is the only solution? But where to start and how many is enough?

Brown people are in the middle of the Whites and Blacks. Whites and Blacks are always targeting each other and calling each other racist and stuff, but my question is Why brown people are out of the picture???....Do people NOT take us seriously or something??? are Brown people better than the whites and blacks???....Is brown people considered NOT racist......Brown people are are just safe in most racist situations.......I think that brown skin is beautiful, but NOT that shitty brown skin that Indians have, YUCK!!!...I'm talking about Brown people like in the Pacific Islands, Mexico, and South America or something. White people are too white and need tans, Black people are to black and dark and need to be light, that's why Brown people have the better skin color......

This is not for those who are just starting to question their faith in their religion, but for those who already made the switch. I really am trying to convert to aetheism but I cannot help the fact that there is someone up there who is always looking down on me. I am not switching because I think my old religion (christianity) is fake, but because I question the divider between what is morally right and morally wrong. The hardest part right now is who to blame and who to praise on mere coincidences that happen in my life (no more "Thank God", or "Damn it to hell"). If there was a religion that could focus more on fairness and (non-american) justice rather than good vs. evil then I would definitly walk right up that alley. I believe that everyone is born with a clean slate and the only reason a person is good or bad is because of their surroundings. Without evil there can be no good, why is that? It is because good and bad is but a mere illusion of majority favor versus minority favor.
