Dear Sindebad: I told you, in Comments, on the Best Answer for "Where do you go after Death?" that I would enter your next question. I had something to tell you:

I am a spiritual teacher, anointed by Jesus to work. When I typed my Answer to you on that question, Jesus had a strong Presence - beside me. He was focused on YOU with such strength and attention as I typed to you what He asked me to say to you. I have never seen Him do that to such a strong degree.

You have a Relationship with the Master. I believe you KNOW it. You love Him, deeply, and now I tell YOU - He feels that way about you. I don't know anything, myself, about this - but I am feeling that you may be one of His teachers - like me - later in your life. Not now.

I could not stop thinking all day yesterday about how strongly He came through me for YOU. This is a real Relationship. He is with you strongly through Mind.

Love - Lana

I believe that you are brought into the traditions of your family. When you are a child you look to your parents and you follow their example (go to their choice of church.) Now you are grown up and questioning tradition? God gave us all free will. Is it so bad to discuss your wanting to change with your parents, do you think that you will offend them? If you do not believe what they believe and keep up appearances for their sakes then you become a hypocrite. There is a big difference in respecting your parents and putting your belief where it feels right. You would feel better if you discussed it - perhaps you are scared. As we don't know what it is that you want to do 'change religion' how can we help?
More information please.

You have the right to follow any religion you choose.

Don't just pick one that you fancy the sound of though, if you are serious, then look at the religions, go to the temples or churches and talk to people.

Deciding what religion you want to follow could take you a lifetime to find out.

Your parents should want you to be happy. My parents respect my personal choices as regards religion. When I'm happy they're happy. I understand some people's parents are not like this. I think you should always be honest with your parents. If they can't accept it thats their problem (Harsh, I know) you'll have a clear honest conscience.

I was born in a Hindu family. But me and mother believed in all gods and for my father god was not a matter but he just said prey to god as if there is only one and you have got only him to tell abt your problem. And then work as if you are the only one to work for you. At that point of view Getting born in one religion is not a matter to believe in the same. Because the god is one in the core. The world calls god as FATHER because for a man there can be only one father.
