Contrary to popular belief, the washing of hands is not to abandon or reject or to turn away from the issue at hand, but the Jews must wash for prayer, as they too are Muslims.

Pilate and Herod held long discussions with Christ and they were well aware of the Islam of Israel, and Pilate was reminding the blood-thirsty Jewish leaders that they should have been keeping the Passover holy with prayer and with their preparation for the Sabbath, and also, that the power of crucifixion was in his hands, to make or break them.

"Go to the pool of Siloam and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight." (John 9:11)

Biblical Jews, like other Muslims, must wash to prepare for prayer, and the command to wash is to go and pray for your sight.

He washed, and Pilate washed, and Christ was set free, and the two Jesus thieves were crucified, and the Curse of the Crucified Thieves still linger in Jerusalem and throughout the Middle East, and now George Bush must go and wash.

For those who live in front of the pc and think they are gurus with points for saying nays and ayes, Islam is the original religion taht came with Adam.

The Bible speaks of Islam as the Greatest Commandment, "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One" and in the Old and New Testament, and nowhere in the Bible is there any mention of Christianity as a religion nor will you find "God is Three but One in a Trinity".

If there were a Pagan Polytheistic Testament for the Bible, you may have found Christianity and Trinity and all the pagan and polytheistic doctrine, but the Bible is a trick that warns of Satan but does not protect from Satan.

Seventh Day Adventists, like Jehovah's Witnesses and The Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints are merely products of America's war against English Catholic rule that allowed freedom of worship and a Church around every corner, and now modern (or now backward) America is at war with freedom of worship under Bush.

Dont some people read the question before answering?
Jews worship One God, Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One!
Jews wash to pray.
Christ washed to pray.
This crucifixion took place on a Holy Day that the Roman Courts were closed in respect of the Holy Day, the Jews would not enter the Court because of the Holy Day and they had no right to go to Pilate for any Court matter but they were desperate and this was their second attempt at holding Court to get Christ crucified.
The Jews were not allowed to put anyone to death but had to have their own trial first, with a guilty verdict, before going to Roman authority.
They brought Christ without charge and without verdict.
Pilate and Herod held more than one trial with Not Guilty verdicts.
Piulate and Herod consulted with Christ and the plot was set, and Pilate showed them the preparation for prayer.
Why dont you see what's in the Bible?
Because you are not trained to see for yourself and worship men who teach nonsense.

You cant prove me wrong with your wishful thinking and your envy and your hurt at being shown the Truth.
Truth is a Heavy Message and people would rather hear nonsense that they can oooh and ahhh about and avoid the Reality.
Dont be hurt at Truth.
You may be heading for the fire for your ignorance.

Acthung!

There never was a religion called Judaism in any Scripture, not even in the Bible in corrupt Scripture.

The Bible refused to have any part with a religion that never existed, just like it does not touch on Christianity, and makes "Christians" a nickname for pagans who spoke of a risen son of Zeus.

Pontius washed his hands to have the Biblical Jews curse themselves with the blood of the two thieves and cause them to lose the Promised Land, which the Bombs of America are being used to keep them on today.

Tralk about copying China with a Great Wall? And at the expense of the American taxpayers.

Jews are not Muslims, and Islam was not known in the ancient world.
Pilate washed his hands of the whole scene with the Jews and Jesus. He knew that Jesus was innocent of the charges that were laid against Him.
Pilate was most assuredly not a Jew. He was Roman and Herod was anything but a Jew, even though there was Jewish blood in him.
The power of the Crucifixion was never in Pilate nor Herod's hands. Jesus made that abundantly clear.
His is God, He could have stopped the whole charade- but for love. Love held Jesus to that cross that day. not nails. It was not the Jewish people alone who crucified Jesus. He came after all to save them, first. But He came to make the way for Jew, Gentile, Muslim and any one else who will open their heart to Him.
You have conveniently tried to tie three religions together, whether by mistake or guile I do not know.

Blah, Blah, Blah.... If Muslims wash their hands, then I am glad. Pilate washed his hands because he felt that Jesus should not die, that he was an innocent man. He did not even know for sure the reason the Jews wanted him to be crucified. Jesus did not defend himself, and when he was brought to Pilot and Herod, they were trying to get him to defend himself and not die. Since Jesus would not defend himself, Pilot washed his hands of the command he was about to give to have Jesus crucified. He asked the crowd, who do I let go, the thief, or Jesus, which deserves to die. The crowd hollered, "Crucify Him" meaning Jesus. Now, if you do not believe this, then I am sorry. Jesus was not "let go", he was made to carry his own cross and the town followed him and the other two thieves to the place of Crucifixion. The nailed Jesus to the cross, and because he was calling himself the son of God, they wanted him to suffer even more, and put a wood shelf for his feet to rest on, so he would suffer longer.
You apparently are a Muslin, if you are, then I hope you will stop this insane murder the
Americans and Bush. I do not know what the "Curse of the Crucified Thieves" is, wake up, your story is not even close to being true. Sorry. Go wash your face.

I said a marvelous documentary on the heritage channel the day exceeded by noted as WHO KILLED JESUS. The documentary reported the Pontius Pilate became the basically historic make certain that became easily shown as real in the tale of Christ. They talked a lot about Pilate, who he became and what he did in his existence. besides, the documentary reported Pilate and the Romans were to blame for killing Christ no longer the Jews. a million. He had quite a perplexing and bloody heritage, no longer a compassionate guy 2. The act of washing his hands to prepare his innocence comes from Jewish custom. If a dull body became got here upon the folk might want to bypass to the elders in the nearest village. The elders might want to seremoniously wash their hands to prepare that they had no section in the inability of life of the body that became got here upon. The documentary reported that Pontius Pilot being portraid harmless of the conviction of Jesus and the blame resting on the Jews became an attempt through early Christians to before each little thing separate themselves as diverse from the Jews and secondly to ingratiate themselves with the Romans of the time.

Christianity is the true religion, having replacing Judaism as the form of worship approved by the Almighty.

The Muslim religion of Islam is a form of Satanic false worship that has no connection with bible truth. Islam even teaches that the Apostle Paul was an apostate, rather than a pillar of the early Christian congregation!

It would have been unlikely for Pilate to wash his hands out of fearing Christ or the Jews-he wasn't someone who had a lot of conscious or good intentions. It should be mentioned ,however, that Islam was founded hundreds of years after that event.

Pilate was washing his hands of the matter!
That is he would not be responsible of the death of a Innocent man (Jesus).
That if any fault were to be found it would be found in the priests, and those calling for his death!

But you sound as if you have a faddist for washing, maybe you should go talk to somebody!

I think you need to reread your bible and toran again ... Jews are not Muslim ... and Muslims are not Jewish ... two seperate religions that have seperate backgrounds ... and yes ... you might want to read what Pilot said when he washed his hands ... he was washing his hands of the matter and said so ... he left the fate of Jesus in the hands of the Jewish leadership of the time ... he was being pressured to keep a rebellion down ... it didnt work ... a rebellion happened a number of years later ... oppression of a religion or race will do that to you

Pilate washed his hands and said," I am innocent of this man's blood." " It is your responsibility." All the people answered, " let his blood be on us and on our children!" But, Christ died for all mankind and all who except him will be saved. He died that you might live and have life more abundantly.
