because particularly in American culture...we are trained to always want the next best thing. We always want to upgrade...and companies are constantly marketing "new and improved" items which make us yearn for more. This makes it hard to settle for what we already have...so even when we get something that we've wanted for a while, we soon grow tired of it and want an upgrade. This philosophy has seemed to transfer from more than just consumer products to other aspects of our lives too...ie relationships.

It ok to want things to make your life better, easier. If you are wanting things that you end up not wanting after you have them maybe what your searching for is a need for internal, not external.
Experience life, learn things, never stop trying to be a better person, give as well as recieve. Fill up on the inside. Maybe what you want externally will clear up a little.
Best Wishes
God Bless, I do!!!

Human nature. And it is not bad. Imagine getting something you want and just seat around the rest of your life without wanting anything else. It will be too boring.

I was like that one time, till I teach my self and one book how to difference between what I wanted and what I needed. What helped me was reading not one of the Best books I have ever read. but one of the greatest books I have ever read. ( After the Bible ) "Think and Grow Rich". It really made a difference and how I think today; thoughts come into my mind still, but I controlled. TODAY? I don't have to worry anymore.
Remember... Creating Power System, Create Power.

yes I do the same, I think it is because when you finally get it the interest in the object is gone. You drove yourself crazy wanting the item.

that's human nature i guess, we all long to have something we dont and when we have it we simply get bored of it and want something else. theres alot more psycology to it but generally speaking alot of people go through it, some times it depends on the whole situation and object of desire.
