Can you tell me what you love the most about living in Ontario? I am mainly interested in Ottawa and the daily life there so whatever you can tell me I appreciate and thank you.

Apart from the senators, I really like Ottawa too, it would be a great place to live.

It has the advantages of a smaller, fairly well off city (low crime, not too much traffic, etc) with many of the advantages of a larger one. Being the national capital, it has a much more cosmopolitan and international flavour then you'd expect in a city of its size. You can find great theatre, arts, museum's etc. It is just accross the river from Hull, so you benefit from basically straddling the Ontario/Quebec border, and having the advantages of both cultures.

While it is cold, I much prefer Ottawa in winter to some slightly warmer cities, because there is so much winter life there. Snow falls and actually doesn't melt. You are close to great downhill skiing. The canal through ottawa freezes in the winter, people rent (or bring) ice skates, skate along the canals and buy hot chocolate to warm up. I'll take a little below freezing with winter fun over slightly above freezing and rainy any day.

I just moved from Ottawa to Waterloo Ontario.
Some things I will miss from Ottawa:
Kettlemans bagels
Skating on the canal
Going to Senators games
Produce Depot (Bank & Hunt Club)
Overall Ottawa is very safe clean city.

Ottawa is a nice place other than the Ottawa Senators LOL There's a lot to do and if you go to Ottawa, you have to visit the war museum, it's amazing. There's public transit to get around.
