Thanks For Your Great Question :)
Well I Think Islam is the only religion who simply accepts others beliefs
God says in the Quraan : And say: "The truth is from your Lord." Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve." [1:29]
"There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. " [2:256]
and there is a full chapter giving others to believe in whatever they like God says :
سورة 109 الكافرون
Say (O Muhammad) to these disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, in His Angels, in His Books, in His Messengers, in the Day of Resurrection..etc
"I worship not that which you worship,
"Nor will you worship that which I worship.
"And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping.
"Nor will you worship that which I worship.
"To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islamic Monotheism)."
Thats why I respect any other belief :) If you have any questions about Islam or any other religion please feel free to contact me on abouterachess@yahoo.com

First of all, many religions are just a way to justify violence, pride, and selfishness which is inherent in every person. Secondly, when people disagree, it doesn't mean that we don't accept each other though it could mean that. Finally, if someone makes a truth claim that is apparently detrimental to them either now or in eternity, the only loving thing to do is share what is percieved as truth in order to help them.
For example, if there was a widespread outbreak of a deadly flu and I had the vaccine that could cure people or at least knew it would not hurt anyone any worse, what kind of person would I be to not share it? In the same way we share what we percieve as truth and are convinced is the truth, in order to help people.

I respect their decision to their own beliefs, although I would be contradicting my belief, if I didn't mention Jesus and His love for us. After I tell them about the Savior, then it is their choice, and I certainly wouldn't force them to accept my faith. It is a decision that the other person would have to decide. I think it is an abomination against Christ to force, impose, or be rude to someone just because they disagree with my faith. Jesus would never be that way. He would just speak the Truth, and then it would be your choice. Some people have sardonic views about their religion. There have been wars since the population grew and people started having their views on things. Most of the time wars happen because, a.) someone wants to be the boss, b.) someone disagrees with another persons views about religion. I know God would never tell a person to murder someone just because they don't like them, or disagree with their religion. He is a God of peace, not confusion.
And I must add what type of religion does Don practice to make the comment he just made for this question.

I don't believe I am starting any kind of wars just because I am a christian. I don't accept other peoples viewpoints because i believe in what the Bible has to say and nothing else. They are so many things coming to pass from prophesies that why would you not believe, the bible speaks of severe famines, plagues, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and guess what we are having those things. Countries coming against Israel, spoken about in the bible as well. And if we continue to turn our back on God, it is only gonna get worse and more devastating.

Why does someone have to be wrong and someone right why can we not have something called compromise... You know a WIN WIN situation.. has anyone ever thought about that. Everyone has there point if we can just work together to come up with something suitable for both parties and for each of us to bend the wars maybe could stop. Actually it seems that is the one thing everyone is agreeing on that is to FIGHT

The problem is that the two religions most responsible for the wars and violence, Islam and Christianity, both teach intolerance toward non cult members. These two religions are incompatible with peaceful existence.

Usually if someone agrees to disagree that means that they have not come to a conclusion as to who is right or wrong. And people LOVE to be right.
I believe its immaturity.

I totally agree with this stance! Unfortunately some religions are driven to either ridicule opposing viewpoints or try to convert them. I don't know whether this is a survival technique or just plain ignorance.

Because there are ignorant self righteous people putting people down and trying to force them to live an unnatural life.

I agree. Unfortunately, there are alot of arrogant and bigoted people in this world and they will always try to make you think you are wrong and they are right. I don't pay those people any attention though.
