No. In fact, homeopathic "remedies" are nothing more than regular water. The things that are added to the water to supposedly make it into a cure are diluted to the degree that they can no longer be measured in that water.

The only side effects would be that they don't actually cure or prevent any diseases. Homeopathy simply does not work.

Homeopathy is totally bogus, diluting an "essence" that would do nothing anyway, to a level where there would be a tiny drop in a swimming-pool! A little science, a little con-trick, and suckers part with their money. What is your medical problem? Go see your doctor. Ask them what VALID alternative therapies, such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, osteopath or chiropractic work that may help you. Don't trust a serious condition to a quack after your wallet. We had a woman on the South coast a few years back, who was shining crystals at poor deluded souls who had cancer, who should have been getting radiation, chemo and drug therapies THAT WOULD HAVE WORKED for them, instead they got crystal-nonsense, and they died.

In the near future, you will find that allopathic and homeopathic medicine will start converging--it already has.

The reason for this is that people have had remedies for ailments for thousands of years, before they learned how to "make chemicals". A lot of our allopathic medicines are plant-based anyway (i.e. Penicillin--mold--i know, not really a "plant"...blehh).

I have a lot of faith in homeopathic medicine and wish it a great future. At the very least it will push the drug companies off their high horse.
