Sir Fred Hoyle who was an astronomer denied evolution that could have began on earth from non living to living. He calculated the chances of that happening are 1 in 10 to the 40,000th power. This is an astronimical number even out numbering all the known atoms known in the universe which is 10 to the 80th power. "The notion that not only the biopolymer but the operating program of a living cell could be arrived at by chance in a primordial organic soup here on the Earth is evidently nonsense of a high order," Sir Fred Hoyle. What do you have to say about that?

i know god forgives sin, but what if we continue to the same sin, will he still forgive you. i won't to stop sinning so much. what is the best way to stop sinning. i know it is impossible to, but i at least want to try.

It seems like such a waste of time to focus all your time and energy into hatred toward others who are not like you. I watched a show last night about neo-natzis, to 14 year old girls singing about white pride. They are home schooled by their mother and are taught that hitler was good. Thats all they do is go around hating people of diffrent races. Why? What is the purpose? I don't get it.

I know that not a lot of women are going to go out and look for a women to fool around with, that just not likely at all...but if the opportunity presents itself, isnt it likely that they wouldnt decline the offer..becuase its human nature to want to experiment...so wouldnt they want to take advantage of the situation? and how many women fall into that percentage...?just curious

I have no religion and i dont really beileve in it or i should say I dont know what faith to follow. Im having a hard time in life and alot of people said to go to a preist or miniter and talk to them. Do they do that? Or can i go into a church and just sit there and think? I know there are some people here who just write things to get a rise out of someone because they're just bored but why do some people feel it nessisary to be truely hateful? I have asked valid questions, never cussed anyone, never threatened anyone but I can't seem to ask a question or make a comment without some people getting truely hostile. Do they really think they scare me when I know they can't hurt me anyway? Im not saying only atheists do this as I am sure there are some professed Christians who do this to other people. But to those who DO this (and you know who you are) do you think you scare anyone or ruin their day while you hide behind your screen? Will you convert someone to the way you think by making idle threats? What is truely the reason why people do such things?

why cant some people take the time and relize the amazing things in life and on earth. There is all kinds of amazing things on earth people ignore such as the way nature works, the water falling from inside mountains. The Grand canyon. I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven.

If the above is true - I would have a problem with being a friend of a follower of Allah when their clerics are telling their followers to kill me.

Question: Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be there as well?"

Let's say theres a girl that I've been good friends with for a long while. A few months ago I started going to her church. Originally she expressed to me how indulged in christianity she was and that was the reason we couldn't date. Months later, she says a similar thing:
"We can't date because christianity isn't just my religion; it's my life, and I need someone who is like me".
So for a few months she's been taking me to church with her, and I keep learning more and more. Although I am still thoroughly confused with the religion and it's principles, doesn't christianity embrace the teaching of the religion to the ignorant? Wouldn't it make her a better christian by helping me learn more? Then wouldn't I be motivated more if we were dating?
