It stunts growth in adolescents.
It makes you a lazy bum. Do we want everyone to be lazy bums? I don't think so.

I think that our society is very conservative and close-minded when it comes to the issue of marijuana. I think that the only reason it is currently dangerous is because it is not regulated. I knew someone who smoked pot a lot but one day smoked some laced with cocaine and ended up in the hospital with heart damage. If marijuana were legalized and/or regulated in some way, it would be easier to prevent such injuries from happening. As long as it is legal, people will be mixing it with other, more dangerous drugs, and will get hurt. I'm not saying it should be legalized, I just think people need to know more about things if they choose to do drugs of any kind. Be safe, that is all. Knowledge and safety takes the fear out of most things.

What is everyone so scared of? I'll tell you, maybe you haven't taken the time to read all of the health issues associated with pot use, have you?
If you are male, it can affect everything from your sperm count to your lung capacity. Females it can affect any future childrens development. And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Pot as a pain reliever for cancer is not a 100% proven thing. I think I'd take something less damaging to my body to take care of the pain, to be quite frank with you.

In all the years I walk on the planet I have not understood why they make such a big thing about marihuana and allow alcohol. For me personally alcohol has a much stronger effect....1 or 2 beer and I am totally relaxed, happy and fall asleep. Marihuana? I tried and does just nothing.
So....it's really weird

Marijuana is addictive and is not good for young children to be using it. Under certain circumstances, doctors can give marijuana to cancer patients.

you people are talking absolute nonsense, and you have no knowledge of what marijuana really is or causes
THC, active ingredient in marijuana is impossible to overdose on
it is harmless, over than the carcinogenic smoke, which is only slightly more so than cigarette smoke
it is relaxing
