Islam did not introduce polygamy. Unrestricted polygamy was practiced in most human societies throughout the world in every age. Islam regulated polygamy by limiting the number of wives and establishing responsibility in its practice.

Monogamy of the West inherited from Greece and Rome where men were restricted by law to one wife but were free to have as many mistresses among the majority slave population as they wished. In the West today, most married men have extramarital relations with mistresses, girlfriends and prostitutes. Consequently the Western claim to monogamy is false.

Everytime I go to walmart or Save a lot store for food , men always stare at me and flirt with me. I tell them to stop but theyll say something like " I know your playing hard to get"

Its hard for me to maintain my life when these horny men cant seem to focus on anything other than myself. I mean they dont even look at other girls when Im around. One time I decided to kiss a guy at the walmart and he threw up all over the place. I guess he was not feeling well that day.

What should I do? Im not stuck up but I know I am admirable. It seems though everytime I act out and flort back and kiss them the guys end up throwing up all over the place. IS IT possibble that all these guys happened to be sick from a cold or something else?

I am a married woman but my hsuband left me a few weeks ago. He came back last night only to try to eat my possum. Im so confused. I hate my life

any way. I was watching TV. and a guy was arguing against gay
marriage was that it goes against all human tradition. which
is a bunch of bull. they're a bunch o societies where gay
was an acceptable lifestyle and one I know of where straight
wasn't. so when will I need the traditional straight clothing or
straight digest. just saying if being straight is a tradition it's

Many here have stated that Jesus will return in our lifetimes...some of them even give the date of 2012...

A powerful piece of lit written by Max Ehrmann. I'm getting all kinds of slams from zealots, telling me I'm going to Hell because I believe in the message.
So I'm asking, specifically, what is wrong w/ it?
It's much shorter than the Bible, so read it before judging. LOL!!

think that because i have white pride tattooed on my arms that i am a racist?
there is a differance between white pride and white power.
if a latino can have brown pride or a black man can have black pride and not be a racist then why not me? i am no racist but i do have pride in my race just as i should have.

I believe that there is a spirit(s) of some kind in my house and to be honest it scares the $hit out of me! How can I have the spirit(s) removed. Do I need a priest? Are there only certain priests (ie Catholic) which will perform a ritual that would remove spirits?

Things that have brought me to the conclusion are:
My g/f believes she has seen a ghost in the bedroom
The dog stares at empty space as if there is something there
The lights occasionally flicker (It isnt dodgy electrics!)
It feels like they there is something else in the house of a supernatural existance.

Any help or advice would be great! Thanks.

The verse of the Qur'an (Al-Nisaa 4: 34) that refers to beating wives should be understood in those terms: Unless the matter is of the nature of "Nushooz" or refusal to accept the position of the other and thus may ultimately result in the breaking of the household, the man should not resort to beating. Obviously, in the stages of admonition and restrain from conjugal relations, the matter shall be brought under extensive discussion and views shall be exchanged thoroughly. Seen in this perspective, the referred verse has actually provided a safeguard for women against domestic abuse and beating. Men, in other words, have been restrained from resorting to any kind of physical punishment, unless it is determined that the matter is one of "Nushooz". They are not allowed to take any such action on the basis of any trivial difference of opinion.
