any way. I was watching TV. and a guy was arguing against gay
marriage was that it goes against all human tradition. which
is a bunch of bull. they're a bunch o societies where gay
was an acceptable lifestyle and one I know of where straight
wasn't. so when will I need the traditional straight clothing or
straight digest. just saying if being straight is a tradition it's
a weird one.

now lets sing the traditional straight pledge.
just kidding

Gayness should be accepted. The world is so populated, most countries barely have enough jobs and agriculture to supply the 6 million humans on earth. The world is too populated. All the jobless Americans should travel around the world and teach the citizens of the third world countries about contraception. Meanwhile, people in the first and second world countries should be practicing homosexuality. It has been scientifically proven, homosexuality is the best form of contraception.

That kind of spew to deny same-sex couples the right to marry or adopt smacks of an ingorant soul that wouldn't know logic if it were a snake in the seat next to him on a plane. Such flawed logic generally results in ridiculous statements like, "Pedophilia is a straight tradition since it is usually perpetrated by straight people." How happy would this guy on TV have been to hear that?

People who have issues with gay people are just ignorant, their afraid of the unknown. What I'm looking forward to is the future because kids today don't have an issue with gays and lesbians. Alot of them are being raised by gay people. So in the future to come, and they are running our country...prejudice against gays will not be tolerated. Personally I trust gay people more than straight ones...

Well, I guess for the most part, western societies have been pretty straight oriented. That doesn't make it the only way to go tho.

In ancient Greece, only the social elite were allowed the privilege of having gay sex, usually with young boys. It was supposed to be better for a man to have sex with a boy, because back then they viewed women as subhuman creatures, lowlifes that contaminate the men who have sex with them.
Anyways, that's what someone told me. He was a first year PhD student in religion.
