I have been in other areas and see no recycling. When I ask about it, I'm told "oh we don't do that here" - ??

I guess I'm a nut for it, I recycle everything I can. I've even brought things home from other areas and thrown them in my recycling. (I said I'm a nut for it but not crazed about it.)

you see bottles on trees? In the movies you see where people put bottles on tree limbs. My mom says it means something symbolic and i thought it was something to do with gardening. i am not positive but i think it is done more in the southern states. Does anyone know why people do that?

A lot of the stuff he said in the begining was so correct it was unbelievable. I don't know if we'll get another prophet like him again;.

Believers and non-believers will forever argue who’s right & wrong, if God exists or not, which religion is the truth or not. Science will continue to make discoveries towards finding truths and answering “Why”. Humanity will continue to have violence, wars, atrocities, hurt and happiness, and may never understand “Why”.

In my view, there’s only one possible way for everyone to be correct. For believers and non-believers to both be correct, for hurt and happiness to make sense. Namely, none of the above really exists in the first place.

Human intelligence as we understand it, would be intelligence controlled by a higher intelligence in another dimension, and everything we think and believe to be true is virtual. Such a possibility would account for all the madness that seems so prolific in humanity, but leave open a curious dilemma as to why a higher intelligence would be playing with an inferior intelligence. A bit like humans observing the behaviour of rats.

I'm going to say this up front. All sex crimes should be punished, especially sex crimes against children, whether they are priest, teachers, doctors...whatever.

When a priest is accused of sex abuse, people have a knee jerk reaction and they automatically say that it's because he is not married and because he is celibate.

But the vast majority of rapists and molesters are not priests, many are married, and they are not celibate or trying to be celibate. But people don’t say that they are molesters because they are married and because they were not celibate priests.

By the way, about 2% of all priests in the Catholic Church were ever even accused of sex abuse. Most of the cases were over 20-25 years ago. And most of those were in America (primarily in the Boston diocese). And 81% of those who were found guilty were admitted homosexuals. That's why the Pope has reaffirmed the Church policy that a person with strong homosexual tendencies should not become a priest.

I hired Corey a few months ago and things just aren't working out.

He shows up late if at all. He eats fries like there is no tomorrow...just sticks his hand right in the bin. He says he has been off drugs for a few years and I believe him....that's why I wanted to give him a 2nd chance...

But his behavior is starting to negatively effect my other employees and the moral of the team.

How do I let him down easily?

Okay, when I was in second grade, my dad moved to California. I live in Indiana. ANd he wouldn't give me his address, only a P.O. Box. Now that I'm older I think its because he didn't want my mom get child support from him. IS there anyway my mom could get child support from my dad if he has no job and I don't know his home address. He was ordered to pay $100 a month, when I was one, but he has never once payed it. But he wants me to do him all types of favors. And he talks about my mom badly, event though if it weren't for her, I don't know where'd I'd be right now.

I say this because unless hes albino he can't be white and hes says a lot of weird stuff.... I didn't even know people like him could read a bible or type... and as far as i know a burning cross is not a good sign of the christian faith and I'm wiccan so....... hes just kinda creeps me out O_0

I don't have anything better to do. Is there a group that will allow me to be sacrificed during a ceremony so that they can let a negative spirit inhabit or use my body to tell them how to keep their concepts of power running strong. I will be as fearful as possible to keep the mood going. I just want to be cool and fit in.

Then why are the predominantly white areas of town usually the cleanest and nicest places to live, eat, go to school, and/or to go to for fun. The predominantly black areas of town are always the ares of town where you wouldn't want to be at in the day-time muchless at night. The predominantly black ares of town always have more crime such as:shooting, drug-pushing, robberies, muggings, prostitution, and rape. Black ares of town always have bars on the windows of the stores as well, you never see that in white parts of town. Still after all of this, I hear that there is no difference in whites and blacks. I know that there are some good black people out there and there are some bad white people, and vice versa, but surely there are some people out there who have noticed what I have just pointed out. All blacks might not be bad people, but you have to say that a vast number of them aren't exactly fine, decent, upstanding individuals. I've heard what Bill Cosby said, I agree thoroughly.

I am trying to find my way back to christ. I attended a Bible Fellowship 8 years ago but I only went for 2 years. The pastor at the church called me at home and said I had to kick my son's friend out of my home. I was a single mom at the time and I took in my teenage son's best friend when his mom died and he had no-one to take him in. He was a wonderful teenager but the pastor said it gave the appearance of evil since I was not married and this boy lived with me. I left the church after that and went back to my old ways. Now I am re-married (to a non-believer unfortunately) but I feel the lord calling me back and I want to go to church but I don't think I should go back there. Is it okay to just read my Bible alone and pray alone and walk with the Lord alone and watch Charles Stanley?

There are no Atheists in foxholes...but Back in the Roman days their wasn't too many people who weren't praying to Mars (the god of war) one of the many roman gods for his help while they stood bracing themselves for a Barbarian charge. But saying their wasn't any1 who didn't throw their lives into the hands of 'the gods' would be quite an untrue statment. The ones who do not rely on superstition when times of danger are remembered as some of the most brave and intelligent people of the time. Now we know that their religous views could not have been true because we have been to the places like the clouds and know the earth isn't flat. Do you think that science will ever advance far enough to put down some of today's superstitions?

Why do people try to keep them that way? Curse words, pornography, violence, etc... are being censored everywhere. Why? Do people really think that if you censor a movie on TV, that children wont learn of it? Children will go to school and know all there is to know about what was censored. Parents cant stop what kids learn at school, unless they keep them at home.

Kids arent as innocent as some of you seem to believe.

And as for those of you who dont want to see violence and sex and whatnot, you have a choice not to watch it. Just change the channel on the TV or radio or whatever. Dont censor something so that it prevents everyone from watching it. Some of us DO want to watch it.
