A young lady came to me asking for money for an abortion. She was pregnant and didn't want her parents to find out. I loaned her the money. She had the abortion. I feel guilty.

Yes. In the eyes of God you are guilty. You knew what she was going to do with the money you gave her. Now you need forgiveness because of the guilt. If you are truly sorry all you have to do is get down and ask God to for give you. You need no one to help you. Just you and God. Talk to him, and ask to be forgiven. He will forgive you. Just don't do it again. You need to do this, because I think you feel really bad about it. Put your troubles on God shoulders and he will carry alot of it. God Bless.

Well your guilty of murder if you are pro-life. I personally wouldn't have done it, because I do believe its murder, that baby's heart was beating when it was killed. My daughter had a friend who got pregnant at 15, she had the baby and she is now a beautiful 6 yr old. Had that girl chose abortion, our little friend wouldn't be here today. After she told her Mom she was pregnant of course there was arguing, tears, and everything else. At 15 she had this baby, finished school, and college, and took care of this child every night. Because she chose to have this baby, her mother made her take responsibility of that baby. Of course mom helped with day care while she went to school, and she also held down a part time job to help support this child. And these are working class people, they did not use any means of the welfare system. (I'm not putting down the welfare system, it has helped many people. Just saying they didn't abuse the system) But this is just an individual case. Not all parents are like that and make their children self supportive. Abortion is an easy way out of responsibility. If you are responsible enough to have sex, then you are responsible enough to either care for a baby or give it up for adoption.

You feel guilty because you know you did something wrong. Life Starts at conception. If you type in your search engine "pictures of aborted fetuses" then you will change your mind about abortion. I lost a baby when I was 17 weeks pregnant and a drunk driver hit our car. I named him Daniel Patrick and he is buried next to my mom. The nurses at the hospital put him in a blanket and I held him. We buried him in a tiny preemie size sailor suit because my husband was in the Navy at the time. I have pictures of him and I can tell you that "Yes he was a person, not a piece of flesh that pro-choice people would refer to him as". I wish you the best.

The only reason you would feel guilt, is if you came to the realization that abortion is wrong.
It appears you have.
I wouldn't say you are guilty of murder, but you did in fact give this young girl the means to murder her unborn child.
I'd suggest you talk to this girl and tell her how you feel. Tell her you feel like what you did is wrong. She may feel regret after having the procedure. Ask for forgiveness...both of her and God. I know they will both love you no matter what!

No, you helped a young lady who obviously was not mature enough or responsible enough to be a mother, make a decision not to have a child that would possibly live a life of neglect and/or abuse. You saved society thousands of dollars by not having to fund her pregnancy, delivery, and support of an unwanted child for 18 years.

Since you knew the reason for the loan was abortion - you are guilty. Hey - if you are religious, please seek for God forgiveness. As a Muslim, I believe God (Allah) is merciful.
