Outside of your very limited sample space, guys have a much higher level of homophobia programmed into them. Part of the archetypal 'man' is a healthy distance and lack of contact with other guys. It's culture. It sucks. Sorry.

To the girls you are more feminine then your hetro male counterparts, and you pose no risk to them. On the other hand, to the guys that don't accept you, accepting you would, to them, be condoning homosexuality. They do not feel secure enough with their own masculinity. Besides, why is it necessary to anounce what should be private in the bedroom. That is the only difference between you and most other guys. Granted they may joke about gays, but it is just a joke. Let it pass. You will find your niche, in time.

Guys seem to be afraid by accepting you they might have to accept being attracted to the same sex also... I myself have come to other guys and have had the same problem but I seem to make a ton of great female friends :)

Guys are more insecure about their sexuality and may feel threatened that they may become a potential sex object for you..
