I don't do a daily Rosary, but I often pray the Rosary for specific intentions, and I have never been disappointed.

Those who fail to understand the divine power behind this method of prayer are missing out on one of God's greatest gifts.

No. I am catholic but I don't think I've ever said the rosary. If saying it, makes you feel closer to God and strengthens your faith. Then go for it! If you feel that you can acheive a better comunion with God another way, then I really wouldn't waste my time saying the rosary every day. If you are in need of spiritual advice, maybe you should speak to your priest rather than asking Yahoo answers.

I pray the Rosary sometimes, not daily. I listen to the 2006 Podcast award winning Rosary Army Podcast pretty often. They recorded mp3 files for each set of mysteries. (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious) The Rosary Army ministry is dedicated to making and giving away all-twine hand knotted rosaries. I've made a few myself. It's kind of fun.

I find myself mostly listening to the mp3 file and thinking about the mysteries. It is relaxing. It helps me remember who Jesus is and what his sacrifice was for mankind!

I try & say one as often as I can, sometimes more than one a day. Sometimes just 10 Hail Mary's. I always say 3 Hail Mary's before going into a dr.'s appointment or a busy store because I get nervous. IT ALWAYS helps me.
I am a member of "Our Lady's Rosary Makers"
& have made over 500 mission cord rosaries & many regular one's with beads & chain work.

No, I don't. For me, it's "vain repetition" which Jesus decried on the part of the Parisees. I feel much closer to God when praying prayers with words birthed out of my own heart (I can compare because I used to pray the Rosary when I was a Catholic).

NO! God hates repetitive prayers! He said to pray in spirit and truth. The rosary is another catholic idea and very wrong in God's eyes. The beads idea came from european religions.

Yes, definitely! It got me out of going to war in Afghanistan when my wife was alone taking care of our toddler daughter and pregnant and with our second baby.

I prayed the rosary on a CD while I would run around a track. I prayed for God's will to be done. At the last minute before I was supposed to go, they told me that I didn't have to go. My wife and her mother were praying a lot for me at home, too.

It turned out that it wasn't God's will for me to go to Afghanistan but for me to be at home to take care of my wife and to be there for the birth of our second baby. To me, that was a real miracle.

I do and that depends on why you say it. I do not say it in petition of anything but as a daily prayer. The difference I see is in how it affects my life. I feel closer and more peaceful.

catholics say the rosary but Christians do not because we focus of god, the bible and Jesus. that's it. the catholics idolize people in the bible and place them as worthy as praise, when really god only worked thru these people. we idolize god and worship him and him only. not people.
