This question is directed to those people who are forever making all encompassing statements like, "Christians are ignorant", etecera.

I'm curious how educated the people saying these things actually are. Making statements like that seems to indicate that they had not thought things through very well and have nothing intelligent to say, not to mention that comments like that are entirely beside the point in nearly all cases.

Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

The leader of the Jews in the town of Yathrib by the time of the Prophet Muhammad was named AbduLLAH ibn Salul. Both of them were named before Islam started.

For the Atheist, or Agnost people, i grew up believing in God, going too Church and praying, but around May i started finding it useless and started reading books, and articles on Religions, i would consider myself "Agnostic" now, but sometimes i feel bad, anyone else feel this?

Please don't make fun of me or anything, i still kinda find it hard too believe in God unless theres proof, i mean some are waisting so much time with the questions that will never be answered.

going to deal with hell? I hear these whiny people complaining if the air conditioning in a store isn't cold enough and think that 80 degrees is hot. I know that not all of these people are going to heaven so how are they going to deal with it when there will be no air conditioning in hell and it will be hotter than 80 degrees?

through means of "divine transcendence" and "faith," and should any Christian continue to call me an atheist fool, I will be forced to invoke the wrath of the Invisible Pink Unicorn:

"You are a fool for denying the existence of the IPU. You have rejected true faith and have relied on your feeble powers of human reason and thus arrogantly denied the existence of Her Divine Transcendence, and so are you condemned."

If such arguments are good enough for Yahweh, they are good enough for Her Invisible Pinkness.

As for me and my house, we shall choose reality.

Really I am serious I tend to be a very positive person and recently have been called a "fluffy bunny". I understand duality and the need for both dark and light. I am lacking in this recent perception by new acquaintances. People who have known me see no differences in me.

You are (whatever religion you are) and so is the person you're married to. You are very much so (whatever religion you are) and one day, your child comes to you and says to you and your spouse, "I am (religion opposite to your religion)." How would you respond?

For Christians, Atheist or Pagan
For Atheists, Christian or Islamic or Scientology
For Pagans, Christian
For Jews, Islamic
For Islamic, Jewish or Christian

Please remember, though, for this scenario, you're a strong follower of your religion.

... I don't have one for the Buddhists or Hindus or Agnostics or Scientologists. Pagan is being used in this sense as a worshiper of nature or a person who believes in more than one God/Goddess.

PLEASE DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE MATCHUPS!

Who or what is the true God you write about? Is Allah that God?
THE TRUE and only GOD is the God of THE BIBLE. First HE
was The God of the Jews alone. Later HE became THE GOD
for both the Jew and the Goyim (that's us).

Allah was found in the "Kaaba" along with many other gods when Mohammed
broke in to the Kaaba to rescue his village god. It was originally only the village
god of those who lived in the village Quraysh. Mohammed elevated that god and
proclaimed his village god to be THE GOD. ~~~ Saddam Hussein is also from
the village of Quraysh.

In the Qur'an Allah is called "the arrogant" (Sur al-Hashar 59.23) and
"the most crafty" (Al Imram 3:54).
Regarding Our Saviour - "they crucified him not" (Sur al-Nisa' 4:157)

To day we hear people calling the people of Israel by the name Jew. Is this done for convenience or is it an accurate title. I assumed that Jews were only referring to those in the tribe of Judah. In other words, all Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites can be considered Jews. Is this accurate?

Then why do people complain about freethinkers and other atheist asking and answering questions in the religion and spirituality section? They often are more knowledgeable about religion then those still infected with it. It's funny how some even get offended when some one of the "wrong" religion posts in here.

God is perfectly just, and yet he sentences the imperfect humans he created to infinite suffering in hell for finite sins. Clearly, a limited offense does not warrant unlimited punishment.

God's sentencing of the imperfect humans to an eternity in hell for a mere mortal lifetime of sin is infinitely more unjust than this punishment. The absurd injustice of this infinite punishment is even greater when we consider that the ultimate source of human imperfection is the God who created them.

A perfectly just God who sentences his imperfect creation to infinite punishment for finite sins is impossible
