Then why do people complain about freethinkers and other atheist asking and answering questions in the religion and spirituality section? They often are more knowledgeable about religion then those still infected with it. It's funny how some even get offended when some one of the "wrong" religion posts in here.

I think it is funny when a religious person spouts out an answer to do with their own religious text and screw it up. Sometimes they should just be glad that people who have actually read their books are on here.

I don;t think they are offended by the "wrong" religion as much as they are by "infected with it". Why do the atheists feel the need to try and start a hostile thread by asking ridiculous questions like yours? Are you afraid the other atheists may think you are uncool if you don't? You do realize that most atheists don't care if people follow religion. They just don't want to be harassed about not believing. I can easily go into the science section and rip apart some of the scientific "facts" that people post there, but I don't because I respect their opinion. You come in to this section and post scientific "facts" like some people do and I'll shred them because the whole purpose is to agitate the theists. I'm not a theist by the way, just get annoyed by those who put faith in an ever changing science and try to force that belief on those who are happy already.

well said!

It's nice to see some perspective on questions. It is very sad that some folks refuse to see that.
