First off, doesn't it stop becoming "personal" when you Christ Cultists congregate or try to spread you BS religion to other cultures? Personal means you go into your bedroom , lock the door and dance around with snakes, talk to yourself (pray) or read some fiction (the bible).

Secondly, the whole Idea of a relationship with a person you have never met or even worse a deity that doesn't exist seems borderline delusional...wait, it is delusional. With that logic I can claim I have a relationship with Winona Ryder even though I have never met her, spoken to her. Hell my relationship with her has more substance because I can at least look at a picture of her and get wood.

Before you post any bible mumbo jumbo please read this question:

or are you just born that way. How did it feel for you, when did you know, and would you be able to change it if you wanted to?
Thanks.

Commerical costumes are sometimes hard to fit. Looking for something that can be done with make up and or household items that make it obvious it is a costume, but not necessarily require buying a costume at a store.

I live in LA, and just like anywhere in the US there are roads with their names and suffixes. What qualifies Santa Monica as a boulevard, and Melrose as an avenue? Both run East / West, and both are lined woth businesses for miles.
How are roads assigned their title?

To put it plain and simple sometimes I feel like Job in the Bible! I know life has a series of test and that you should try to find the lesson in them. But what about when you are too tired to keep running so you are willing to walk away. I have been a pretty decent girl all my life. I never gave my family real problems, doing excellent in school but it seems like all I do is get punished in some way and that I am never prospering but everyone else is. how do you deal with these feelings about God. I know faith and so forth but what if you have past that stage and yet to see a change?

I have several covered aluminum trays of untouched food from an event last night and would like to give to some people who could use it. I'm in the Venice area. Two shelters I called were closed on the weekend. Any ideas?

I am reading this great book about a woman's near-death experience, and there is a part of the book that says something interesting:

Because of lack of knowledge or belief, some spirits are virtual prisoners of this earth. Some who die as atheists, or those who have bonded to the world through greed, bodily appetites, or other earthly commitments find it difficult to move on, and they become earth-bound. They often lack the faith and power to reach for, in some cases even to recognize, the energy and light that pulls us toward God. These spirits stay on the earth until they learn to accept the greatest power around them and to let go of the world. When I was in the black mass before moving towards the light, I felt the presence of suck lingering spirits. They reside there as long, as they want to in its love and warmth, accepting it's healing influence, but eventually they learn to move on to accept the greater warmth and security of God.

There are so many girls that are "popular" and they are very ugly (looks and personality.) But everyone wants to either date them or be like them. They all wear the latest trends like gauchos, cropped shirts, leggings, that sorta thing and they also wear Abercrombie, Hollister and expensive stuff like that. I was just wondering if you think popular people are popular because they have money and wear the latest stuff or is it because they are gorgeous? I don't get it.

Many people use belief in a celestial being as an answer to conundrums that appear during our or others lives but as someone who doesn't have these beliefs I want to hear what other peoples oppinions of these are.
If you don't understand what I mean here a few examples:

Psychic connections including telepathy which most people will have experienced although the majority never notice.

Meeting somone the day after you have thought about them for the first time in years, (c'mon its happened to more people than just me)

De-ja-vu which is so intense you know exactly what is going to happen next.

You may not have experienced these exact things but everyone has had situations where they have experienced a coincidence where the odds of it happening are astronomical.

All answers are welcome.
