I think sombody's trying to hit two birds with one stone:
13 is Jesus and his Apostles and Friday is the Muslim holy day. Perhaps Islam and Christianity are both being insulted here. What do you people think?

If you were born in say Birmingham, do you acknowledge yourself as being born British or English? Or would you acknowledge your region and say your were a Brummie?

I'm a Northerner but I always tell people that I'm British born and bred, second to that I go on to say I'm a European. What do think?

Do we have an identity as British, English or something more regional?

Close your eyes for 10 seconds. Imagine a world with no books. What would happen? Open your eyes and type what you saw in your vision.

Get ouside you 5 beedroom mcmantion, gas guzzling SUV, and over priced double mocha latte. Imagine you were born and raised in an impoverished nation or Sub Saharan Africa. Temps got up to 115 deg and you had no A/C or running water. And every single ounce of food you got your hands on was horded more than gold, as a life sustaining nugget. For you, a sibling, your parents. Then by fate, you have the opportunity to come to America to study as a student. And you see all these fat people walking about. Many lids and babaies. They are certainly not skipping any means or eating once every couple of days. And when you also see how much food is wasted, tossed out, at parties, BBQ, funerals, weddings, resturants, get together. Enough to feed or at least keep your whole small villege alive for another 3 days at least. Would you be shocked, awed, appalled? And why do you think you would think that way had you come from that situation?

I see so many young people with tatts in conspicuous places nowadays ( arms, legs, and such), and I was just wondering- do you think you will regret getting them down the road?

It would seem that people are so concerned with every word of the Bible being written by God (literally) that any other idea shakes their faith so as to make them attack others. (verbally, not physically) Why?

My personal choice, at this very moment would be Tony Blair. I am surprised he was not born with a little string in his back that you could pull, and he would say "I am he."

Tony Blair comes over as a man of peace. He is very sober and pious, voice and face. Canada's Stephen Harper even hailed him publicly this year as a man of peace. People forget that he "took" his country to war with Iraq much against the wishes of his own people who put him into power. It has been suggested that Tony Blair took his forces into Iraq anyways in order to pay back the source of his power.

Tony Blair's wife looks like a demon,a witch and a vampire. She has the characteristic "killer look" in her face.

Tony Blair, and I am sorry to say, given his national birthplace too, is an obvious "stonecutter". Are there any honest Scottish people? I wonder what kind of deal Tony Blair's parents and/or Tony Blair himself might have cut.

Tony Blair likes to hop churches too, or so I hear.

When I moved to USA I was pretty surprised that American Christians are being circumcised. Is it because we have a lot of Muslim and Jewish doctors?

Were people really supposed to come up with intelligent answers
for these stupid questions? Isn't Zen about overcoming the EGO?
Or was it supposed to get the student's brain to shut down and
reach a meditative state? Where he might actually attain
enlightenment? Which is a "knowing, or feeling"? Not something
that can be intellectualized?

Dear All. I am a Pakistani Muslim. I really want to go for US to study. But the situations these days tell me that, Muslims are really not welcomed in US.
US should not do what it is doing these days. US is land of free and it is no more. Coz if its free, why muslims cant live in it?
We muslims like many things abt US, but US let us down and disappointed us.

How many of you would hate to see a muslim in US? and how may of you dont care ?
