Some people need assurance or looking for more answers and most people who ask the same question at one time is not sitting with one another nor going to the website at the same time. The same question may have been raised and answered earlier and another asker came later thinking it was not raised before. Be understanding instead of being irritable. There is what we call the "love button"....DELETE...if you came across it already. Surely there will always be someone who will reply without being annoyed like you.

Not really. I just ignore the other 3 questions. Some post the same question in different categories in hopes of getting the answer that they believe is true. I don't know why people ask for an opinion and dislike any that they don't agree with. It's a waste of their time and ours. Not to mention their points... :)

Is it the same question by the same person or by four different people who maybe didn't see it posted before? No more annoying than any other repeat. And there are plenty by non-religious and/or other religious people. If you let such trivial issues annoy you, you must be easily annoyed. How many times has YOUR question been asked?

Yes. I think they are just looking for that one answer that completely agrees with them, then they can confirm their own beliefs and not have to leave the safety of being "right." They probably feel comforted in the "truth of popularity."

Anyway, I think you should post this question 3 more times!

I think this happens when a question doesn't get answered to the liking of the questioner and they are forced to ask again since the questions are generally ignored after they leave the first page.

Oh come now, O Enlightened One, maybe they just want a broader answer. This category moves questions through very quickly and on "busy" times, the question itself can be lost in 15 minutes or less. Besides, remember that the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster states "let the lost ask their questions and ask for both guidance and meatballs for they shall soon find the Parmesan that they need."

They post their questions, not to find answers for them, but to annoy people and to make people feel bad about their religious belief.

A bit, I tend to answer them once and then move on. The only reason I can fathom for repeating the same question would be to get different perspectives, although this is not always the case.

Yes I am. I often wonder why people must be so bored they haven't got the sense to check if their question has already been asked. I don't know about you, but I come on here to have a little fun expanding my mind a bit, not to keep banging the same drum over and over!

No, I'm not annoyed by that. It could be that they want to be certain that they get their question across. At times, when a question is asked, an honest response is not given at first. To hear the question again and again becomes so redundant that the real answer is finally given because the respondent might just want to get it over with and be left in peace.
