This question has been asked many times before. I myself believe in creation but nevertheless, I have to say, that questions like these make us all look very ignorant concerning the whole matter of evolution. Please check out the link below, it will help you understand things a little better.

First off, you say THE theory of evolution, like there is only one... This is the flaw in this question. Secondly someone states that the human species will cease to exist because its a fact. If it hasn't happened, it cannot by definition be a fact. It may be a high possibility and a likelihood, but not a fact. Thirdly, I find it so sad that a country like America that has the potential to be an amazing place, has started teaching creationism in schools again. What the world needs more than anything is an openinig up of thought and education, but unfortunately the bigots are closing the doors on free thinking. Maybe we should take all the fundamentalists, christian, muslim, jew and any other religious or organisational fundamentalists and build a big boxing ring and let them go at each other. We could show it live on pay per view with all profits going to charity organisations. And then the rest of the world could carry on getting to know each other and stop monkeying around.

Monkeys did not evolve into men because they are a separate species of creation. They are apes, not humans.
The skeletons of apes and men differ. Apes help themselves along with their knuckles; Man walks upright. Man possesses an opposible thumb, Apes do not. Man can look at the Heavens and wonder about God, lower animals cannot.
The missing link that would 'prove' that Man and the Ape came from a common ancestor has never been found. This is why evolution is only a theory.

All beings evolve all the time. Your life is so short that you can't see the whole picture. Species are going extinct every year. Species are evolving into something new every year. As a small example, human beings are nearly a foot taller now than they were 150 years ago. A small thing, but obviously an evolution.

Evolution is a very slow process and it's not like we came exactly from modern monkeys, we both evolved from the same branch. So, you wouldn't really notice. Humans are still evolving. Look at some data about average size, hairiness, etc and see what you find.

All living things are evolving all the time. Many species will become extinct this year. Man will be extinct at some time in the future. All we can do is continue to learn and maybe that day will be much further away ... but the time will come ... It is a fact!
The central idea of biological evolution is that all life on Earth shares a common ancestor, just as you and your cousins share a common grandmother.
Through the process of descent with modification, the common ancestor of life on Earth gave rise to the fantastic diversity that we see documented in the fossil record and around us today. Evolution means that we're all distant cousins: humans and oak trees, hummingbirds and whales.

Is there any reason that monkeys could evolve into people now? whether monkeys have been evolving (which they are) could we even word the variations that take place over 10 of thousand+ years? heavily, we nonetheless do no longer understand what number diverse species there are on earth or what they have been like 3 hundred years in the past, to no longer point out the masses of species that we've killed off in our short life on earth. I propose which you extremely study technology, and biology from an purpose foundation, fairly than basically declaring "i do no longer comprehend it, for this reason each and each of the information helping it extremely is invalid."

I was asked the same question, 'How come monkeys are not evolving into humans?'. The answer is quite simple. Humans did not evolve from monkeys! They evolved from simpler primates, as have monkeys.
The biggest argument in the favour of evolution has to be bacteria. Due to their rapid reproduction and limited life their evolution can be observed. This is how bacteria and viruses can be transmitted from animals to humans.

My basic understanding is that they are evolving all the time - there will be ones with mutations which are advantageous and they will have more offspring than other ones.
Evolution takes tens or hundreds of thousands of years remember.
Try the Dawkins book where he compares it to a long slow climb up a mountain.

They have evolved, the same as we have, they must have.
Therefore, we cannot have evolved "from" monkeys.
Human organs are more comparible with a pigs, than a monkeys.
It is simply wrong that we began as monkeys.
The only common link is bipods, which we share with birds, and kangaroos. birds arms becoming wings, but the posture of birds, and kangaroos, being the same upright as ours.
What we evolved from is a mystery, as theyve found monolithic man...thats stone age, and he was essentially man then...so the big change from all fours animal, came long long ago.

They probably are evolving as are most species on earth. Evolution is not limited by time its a continuing phenomena. The reason we dont SEE changes is because our lives are measured in hours and weeks and months and years. the evolutionary process is excuciatingly slow by our standards of time. Evolution takes tens of thousands hundreds of thousands and millions of years. Thats probably why its not noticed.
