No, but if you ask for strength He'll be more than happy to help you out. If you read your Bible you'll find in Psalms that there were many times when David wanted to give up, when Moses was so over worked and disappointed with the people he wanted to give up, Jonah ran away, Job wanted to die but God gave them the strength they needed to overcome those feelings and succeed in their lives. Try it!

When you want to give up, God is just laughing because He knows that you are a child of His and that you eventually will overcome. You are here for a reason. There is something you are good at. Where is your place in this life?

It doesn't matter if you are just swipping the floor or answering phones. If you let God come through it doesn't matter how big or small the task is.

All are lessons to learn. The Goal of Life is to become Divine like God is Divine. To get there we have to go through some things, when we learn our lessons those things that are not pleasant will dissolve because there is no longer a reason for them to be there. It is also called burning karma.

You are a Great person. Whereever you are and whoever you are, you are a part of God. How can God be angry at a part of Himself?

All the Prophets and all the Scriptures have been given so that we might learn to progress physically, mentally, and spiritually to the highest degree for the good of all.

Well now, I guess that depends on what you want to give up on. Maybe our own fears, angers and emotions are God-given tools that we can use to our advantage. If you are angry because you want to give up, then maybe you shouldn't give up.

There are times that it may be wise to give up. If you were trying to become an opera star, but can't sing, then it's time to give it up. If you are giving up simply because you have failed at something you are generally good at, then you are probably selling yourself short...you should be angry...turn the anger into passion.

I think God has pretty good control of his emotions. We have so much crime, wars and inequities in this world, he has shown his patience and is waiting for us to start doing the right thing. As individuals, we each need to do the right thing, for ourselves as well as for anyone else. If the right thing to do is to give up on something, then give it up; but don't use it as a "cop-out" or excuse.

No, not at all. Jesus said that in this world, you will have trouble, but be of good cheer becuase he has overcome the world.(Jn 16:33)
Wanting to give up is natural, it can happen everyday because situations and circumstance are oftentimes harsh, cruel, or unfair. However, God gave us tools in his Word to help us through hard time. Isaiah 54:17- No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that judges you, you will prove wrong. (It does not matter if you made the mess or not, God will forgive and help you get the wrong, righted.
Be bold enough to say, "No matter what, I will trust in Him." He is the glory and the lifter of my head! (Psalms 3)

Service With Strength
Colossians 1:10-12

Ministry isn’t something we do, but rather, it is something God does through us. So much fatigue and failure could be avoided if believers remembered that He is the source of strength. We serve Him using Spirit-provided resources. “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass,” promises the Word (1 Thessalonians 5:24). This means that the Lord assumes responsibility for enabling His children to carry out whatever work He calls them to do.
The Savior exemplifies this principle — He also did His earthly work through divine power. Upon His return from the wilderness, Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, and He came preaching a Gospel of repentance. Here is what He said of Himself: “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works” (John 14:10).
As co-heirs with Christ, believers are entitled to access that same spiritual strength. What a comfort to know that a divinely ordained ministry is not in our hands alone! Some other person may be able to do the work better or offer wider experience, but God does not look for servants who are gifted. He instead seeks out those willing to live in His strength. If we have done all we can through the power of the Holy Spirit, then we never have to wonder if we have done enough.

Are you discouraged? Tired? Ready to give up? God is ready to restore you to joyful service if you will simply ask Him to do His work through you.

No, God doesn't get angry with you when you are frustrated. We all want to give up at times in our lives, and God understands and loves you in spite of your feelings.

If you read Jeremiah and the Psalms, all kinds of frustration and anger is expressed at God, right to His face. He's a big God...He can take it! The important thing is that you don't act on these feelings, and are honest with yourself and Him about them.

God loves you so much...just keep talking to Him!

No. God understands that things get hard for us sometimes. It is necessary for our growth and understanding, though. He doesn't allow these problems to be mean, just to make us grow stronger. If you accepted Him, He is with you always, and don't let ANYONE tell you different... not even a preacher. God knows we are going to make mistakes. He expects that. Look at the story of the Prodigal Son. (For non-Christians, look at the story of Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader) God understands and forgives us for our mistakes.

No, I don't believe so. But I think it is those times when you are able to get closer to Him because you are at the point you realize that you "just cannot do it alone". I've been there, and yes, wanting to give up can bring you closer to God. Open yourself up and ask Him to help. Our prayers are with you....

No. I believe the fact that God even comes to mind is proof positive that God is reaching out to you!
