Why the need for Him to beat around the bush so much? Why cant He just get to the point. begat begat begat.... useless history upon useless history explaining hardly anything. Whats wrong with him just speaking directly and plainly. you know.... Do this do that ..... the end
Clearly the bible is of natural origins rather than 'divine'.
And if thats the case..... well .... you can add to the bible today. It can just get bigger and bigger.
I cant help seeing it this way. And christian takers on this one?

I want to have a destination wedding in North Carolina which is 6 hours from my hometown. There would be 2 large beach houses rented out for all the guests to stay in from Thursday to Sunday, with the wedding being on Saturday evening. Do you think a 6 hour drive is asking to much from people for a 4 day weekend in the summer? What if there was a bus rented for those who can't/won't drive? Our guest list includes about 70-75 close family, friends, and kids.

Isn't it the teachings of the bible thats is being 'bashed', yet you quote the very same thing to answer.

It is actually really overwhelming experience to read the questions and answers of the people in yahoo answers. What I've discovered that sex related stuff are highly popular. People seem to have so huge taboos related to sex that it's incredible. There are either those who are moralizing or those who are pornographic. Both are basically the different sides of the same problem. Conlusion: our relationship to sex is ******* perverted!?

The other issue is religion. This issue seems to draw the most dim-witted and narrow-minded people from everywhere. No wonder religion related wars are everyday phenomenon. When I'm reading the answers it feels that I'm reading the answers of some brainwashed puppets. It feels so very very very frustrating.

Have you ever wondered what lies beyond your home country, culture, religion and relatives? So few are the people who seem to be thinking the thoughts that are their own. Who have genuine opinions. Annoyed and frustrated.

Seriously, I have seen so many dark, depressing, and vulgar posts. I see this in the news as well. Almost all the movies and books today focus on the negative or evil side of people or things. Why do we humans seem to have a fascination with the "darker" things? And how can we be a LIGHT for this world?

I feel this is the same story which has changed it course because of our Imagination and Narration through years.
Still there are some similar things to be noted.
1. Both are born at mid Night.
2. There was a KING ordering to kill the new born babies then.
3. There was a escaping story in both cases during/ after birth
4. Chirst is related with Sheeps and Krishna with cattles.
5. One practiced celibacy and the other is opposite to that.

Why get married to stay together... does the need for it show the relationship is wrong?
Why get married other then the party?

There was a saying that goes like this..

If you love a bird set it free,
if it comes back of its free will it loves you,

if it flies away it was never supposed to be with you...

Its not the marraige that keeps you together


Its the emotional bond and how you develop. Ie you may love each other but lives take different paths or you end up seeking different needs possibly around kids etc...

But mostly why should you need a piece of paper, ceremoney, promise to dieties etc...


Surely if you really love each other and are compatable thats all you need?
