God does not frown upon a man loving his wife's body or vice versa. This book demonstrates that.

Also, somewhat mysteriously, it shows the relationship of the church and Christ. Throughout the Bible, Christ is shown as the bridegroom of the church. Christ loves the church. The church respects and submits to Christ. It's a beautiful, healthy relationship.

This is a song about Solomon and his first wife. It is not just about sex, but about the marriage relationship. They are so in love at one point, and later on, she doesn't even want to get her feet dirty in order to let him into the bedchamber.

God created marriage; don't we think that He should have given us some writing on the matter?

It is in the Tanakh (the Old Testament). The ancient rabbis said that a man shouldn't read it until he was married.

It's about the relationship between King Soliman and his most beloved wife. There's nothing christian against a man who loves his wife or a wife who pursues her husband. But that's not the only reason it's in the bible....

The story is also metaphor about the relationship between man and God. In many occasions in the Bible, the relationship between man and God is described as "Marriage". The resemblance is that the relationship lasts for ever and is based on mutual love and sacrifice.
