when they know there are kids on line at the same time. Dont they think that their questions tell them more than they should know and would influence them? Just wondered what peoples opinions are on this matter.

Lingua 06437 - You have a valid point there. Perhaps its time to set up a Childrens Questions and Answers only.

I'm kind of mixed on this. I agree with you, but I would have to side with the people that ask the questions.
It is the responsibility of a parent to monitor their minors. Someone with an honest question about some adult material can now ask it in a place where they can be completely anonymous. Just because some parents don't control their kids does not mean that the rest of us should be forbidden from asking what we want.

Haha, it extremely is what the marriage and Divorce section is meant to be for. yet regrettably, people who're for sure neither married nor divorced come on over here to ask question. could i like an element it extremely is for adults in elementary terms? specific! I do lose interest of asking questions from extreme schoolers approximately their relationships, posing as older than they are, asking stupid immature questions, etc. yet do they deserve help with their subject concerns? actual, i could basically like a destroy from it each and every each and every now and then. yet I worry that if Y!A did get an grownup in elementary terms section, toddlers could basically come across a trend around it (at the same time with MySpace is meant in elementary terms for those above 14, yet toddlers basically lie approximately their age there to get on), or it may develop into overly "grownup"- i.e. human beings asking beside the point photograph questions. yet I do think of it may be effective to have an grownup section. once you ask a question, you do no longer understand those human beings, and you on no account understand whilst you're transforming into an answer from a 14 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous or a 40 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous!

I think there's a difference between 'adult' and 'offensive' questions. Of the majority of 'adult' questions I've seen posted here I'm certain 95% are posted by intensely annoying teenagers who think they're being funny when what they really need to do is get off the internet, stop whining about how many times they cut themselves, meet real actual people and try to learn a few social skills before they hit the real world, realise they actually have to interact with humans and then go postal after realising they can't make friends or associate with colleagues because they've spent their youths locked in their rooms moaning about being 'all alone'.

There shouldn't be any children under the age of 13 here. I'm sure there are, but isn't it up to the parents to monitor what the children are doing?
That being said, I see nothing wrong in asking 'adult' question to get 'adult' information. I do know what you mean though, some are just asking for shock value rather than a true quest for information.

If adults want to ask adult questions, then they should be able to do so. For example, I believe there is a sexual health section of answers.
Perhaps Yahoo should start a kids only answers .

Well, if there's fair warning that the question is adult, and if it's maturely and tastefully handled, I'd say that's the limit of their responsibility. Remember, parents are ultimately responsible for knowing what their children are doing or seeing, not the rest of society's.

People like to see how far the can go and ruin a good thing. I've seen some questions that you feel you can really help, and many more that I've reported!

Ya, I'm only a kid, yet tons of questions involve, "adult" themes.
