I feel this is the same story which has changed it course because of our Imagination and Narration through years.
Still there are some similar things to be noted.
1. Both are born at mid Night.
2. There was a KING ordering to kill the new born babies then.
3. There was a escaping story in both cases during/ after birth
4. Chirst is related with Sheeps and Krishna with cattles.
5. One practiced celibacy and the other is opposite to that.
6. Both can be termed as PRAJAPATHI - the reedemer of people

If you read the Bhagva Gita you will learn about the creation and the life of their God head character as a child into adulthood. It is their bible and they believe it like any other religion does. I still say it ain't about religion it is about a one and one relationship with the God of this Universe. If you can establish that, and it is available, then all the answers will be answered by the Teacher Himself. To get hung up on the history to the point that you argue with yourself and others about what is what, I say go to the horses mouth and forget trying to rationalize something that is beyond your or my ability. First of all unless you were there, you will have to depend on other witnesses accounts of what went on. God can take it all and bring it into the Now for you and show you in today's terms what is reality and what is false reality. Let the Holy Spirit be your teacher and let man confirm that.

Any similarity between Christ and Krishna is just that - a similarity.

"Christ" is from a Greek word meaning 'anointed.' It's not a name.

There is nothing in the Bible about Jesus being born at midnight. It's no wonder that there is some mention of livestock - think of the ancient ways of life. People had animals.

Some people want to stretch things to see similiarities where none exist - there's more of a connection between Lincoln and Kennedy than there is between Jesus and Krishna.

Krishna was one of the Maha avatars of Vishnu... While christ was just a normal person who helped people.

The Christ legend was plagiarized from older 'crucified savior' myths. The "Christ"ians have been had. The Christ is actually a planetary object.
